I built a transformer costume in 2007 as well, and scared the crap out of some little kids. They drop their candy all over our yard...check out my channel to see that and a few other costumes I've built over the years.

Awesome costume.I am atempting to build my own costume looking at yours & others here on the tube.I am having some trouble figureing out what some of the thing is made out of I figured that it was mainly the pink insulation stuff and foam the part I mainly can't find out what you used for the chest plate & where you found it?Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

Holy crap, that's fantastic! I made one for when the movie came out. I only had nine days to finish it and working 70 hours a week at a movie theatre. I wanted it to be as good as this one, but I just didn't have enough time. Fantastic job!!
