@jackyesyes2000 Yeah, that's a calibration problem. The silly game doesn't come pre-calibrated the first time you play it. To calibrate it, go into Service Mode (y'know, the F2 key). There's a calibration option, and regardless if you're using a lightgun or a mouse for gameplay, it's wiser to use a mouse for more accurate calibration. And then, presto! The game works!

What version of MAME are you using please. I got 0.140 and 0.138 amd the sound is horrible.

Are u running a quad core? Intel or amd? I'm running a P4 at 3.06 Ghz with hyperthreading and the game is not nearly this smooth and has choppy sound.

@applefanboy3000 It's AMD X2. Try checking "triple buffering" and "auto frame skip". See if that helps.

Maybe because you are running a tv-res and he is playing on an newer lcd?

How on earth did you manage to get it running so perfectly? My computer has an ATI Radeon HD 4850 video card, 3 gigs of ram, and a Triple-Core running at 2.10, but I'm still experiencing some framerate difficulties. Do you think it's the processor that's incapable?

I used to play this for hours on end. I am a collector of toy clowns, jesters, harlequins and such like, so this game was right up my street. I have always said,that there is something enduringly evil about clowns and jesters [hehehe]. I cannot get this rom to work on Mame though...pity, would have been top of my collection.

Ah I remember this game. Oh the nightmares it gave me as a child. I remember going through the arcade and then this intro starts up and scared the crap out of me.
