I go to Longwood University and right now we have some Asian foreign exchange students. To me they seem very well mannered and quiet. The only ones that aren't well mannered ARE the ones that have adopted 'American manner'. AKA the ones that were born and raised in America in a western setting. Consider it this way... in the same statement, you are also saying that all other races are not as good at math. You may not be saying that all other races suck at math or can't learn math, but just because you are Asian, you have a special ability that other races don't have. That's still racist.

@chinkychino702 logically that is considered racist. The word stereotype is about the whole group, which does not necessarily reflect the individual members. Consider the case of the concept of "Asians the Model Minority". What about "Asians eat dogs" or "Asians are forever foreigners", etc. In addition, the Asian population at UCLA is only 37% of the entire school population. White population is 35%, and the rest are of the Hispanic and African American students. Library is NO TALKING ZONE

@jkentris Racist means you specifically feel and make actions towards a race in a negative manner AGAINST that race.
Prejudice means to prejudge something/someone.
Discrimination means to be selective.
Racism usually INVOLVES prejudice and discrimination. So prejudice and discrimination alone aren't like really bad but they are misguided.
Asians being good at math IS prejudice but it's a positive stereotype, not a racist one. But it is still ignorant nonetheless. lol

Could you tell me if Asians get offended because of her Ching Chang Chong joke, why aren't we offended by our own Ching Chang Chong jokes? Because we are racists? @Timerooy You're right about judging her for not having asian pics on her wall but its obvious she's stupid. The reason she does it and why anyone attacks asians is because asians let them. They're just very conformist (unlike the african americans), stupid people need to communicated to in their own way... they understand a punch to the face and people swearing at them. They don't understand forethought or consequences of their actions or words. You can't speak to them rationally. :)
