Wow..It's hard to believe how they just 'put away' those that were not 'normal', when doctors didn't know what was normal was themselves! We've come a long way in how we treat our "special needs people". Great Video!
I went in tha buildings one time with a couples of my friends wen we were drunk, not gonna lie it was pretty fuckin scarey but i wouldnt reccomend goin in there cuz park police patrol there and ull get arrested for tresspassing
Looks scary now. But when it was open not all the wards and buildings were so scary. I was there often in the late 70s and early 80s. It was mostly a bunch of incoherent and babbling patients in a drug induced stupor. They welcomed outsiders and likes to talk to someone. Scary ass video though.
this is absolutely the best video ever. bar none. thanks for posting. we have spent ALOT of time in every spot there in the mid to late 90s and just too some artist pics there when i went back last spring. not much left though. we have most of the same pics too! i know every spot you are at here! sweet job on this and perfect song. any pics you can send me, im interested in using for the next album cover or inlay. thanks again, its awesome. keith....
Creepy viddy. I've wandered outside, but never entered the buildings. I have however explored a couple of exposed underground tunnels in the demolished southeast quadrant.
My mom used to work there. Crazy stories lol
