  • hi guys from youtube.. i just wish to give credit to whom it is due. I am from the Philippines and I just wish to state clearly that IN SO FAR THAT I AM CONCERNED. ROCKYOURGLOCK's name should be changed to ROCKMYGLOCK. Its my store! I am a darn well satisfied customer because ROCKYOURGLOCK is SUPER FAST in taking orders and shipping it in just a short period of time! Reliable seller offering great array of choices neatly presented in a great website.

  • can someone help me out! how do you make a video response???

  • that makes 5 yay!!!!!!!!!!

  • A Glock has two many internal safeties to go off when dropped. Most accidental discharges are from people pulling the trigger when they draw it. New York actually asked Glock to make a heavier trigger so their cops wouldn't shoot themselve as they were drawing their guns.

  • That's 3...2 more to go

  • revolyreltuc

  • And that makes five!

  • this one count ?

  • Found one!!!!

  • found one!

  • caught u revolyreltuc

  • Anyone looking to clean up a Glock trigger should look into the Ghost Rocket Trigger.

  • Is that the 3 pound aftermarket trigger? What sights do you have?

  • Please see my comments in the other vids regarding drop safety. Its more a matter of something being in front of the firing pin than the trigger "going off" With the trigger all the way back at the sear connection the firing pin block is raised and the only thing stopping the striker from hitting the primer is the sear. Not a good idea IMHO.

  • seriously its a 1 in a 1,000,000 chance of the trigger going off who has the time to drop it 1,000,000 times

  • I love Glocks. Would like to see a review of dropping on something hard like a piece of plywood for example.

  • Is there a pistol with a floating firing pin? That seems to be the only way that a drop would discharge the gun.

  • Very cool vid.

  • Jeff, I don't thiink that is a fair test. I am seeing it splash...lol I dont think many guns would go off if dropped in puddles. I think a jarring motion is what would cause a gun to fire.

  • poor glock 17 =[ lol jk

  • I'm scratching my head here wondering why you haven't mentioned this adjustable trigger thing before so I go into your channel and there's like 10 videos that didn't show up in my subscriptions box. I than search someone else's video and it skipped over 8 of them.

Just a heads up to everyone. Check people's channels from time to time for new videos youtube didn't show in the subscriptions box.

  • I wish I had a jumpsuit as cool as yours :/. Mines orange cloth and it says "Pelican Bay" on the back. I like blue, it stands out less.

  • hey jeff it seems like youve lost some weight. good job.

  • I'm not saying glocks have horrible triggers. I actually have one and I love it but wouldn't it be different if you changed the variables? Say instead of grass go concrete. Just saying, wouldn't the grass differ from the resullts from concrete? I would think that wet watter offers more of a cushion.

  • @pucksupport28 please watch part 2

  • Hey Cutlery Lover Why dont you fire you M1911?

  • @USMCMedic95 I do, I just dont post all my shooting, to shoot and have fun is one thign but to shoot and revord it for a video can be a hassle sometiems, I just posted a shooting video in the rain and the last part of it was 8 rounds through my 1911

  • Cutlerylover thank you so much for posting these kinds of vids i really appreciate it and like bpayne88 said your vids are so relaxing. Can you get back in the zippo phase because i just got my first zippo and i would like some pointers and more tricks i have seen most of your zippo vids and would like to see more thanks

  • TRY DROPPING IT ON SOME CONCRETE JUST TO MAKE SURE GRASS IS SOFT....

  • You didn't harm any milkweeds dropping that did you?LOL!! Good test that proved it is still safe.

  • Great Video

  • @Doominic123

    it still wont go off.

  • good video like always

  • Hm.. Shouldn't the drop test be performed against a hard surface to be complete? Also, why not change out the mag release to a nickel plated or chromed one to match the other parts? Thanks for the vid.

  • @scottcho nvm, just saw your second vid. Nice.. too bad for your rear sight, wtf.

  • No Glocks were hurt in the making of this video! Lol.

  • the grass absorbes the energy of the fall do it on concrete

  • @ThePurpleAndy

he did. it doesnt matter. glocks will not go off if you drop it unless you pitch it straight down on the backplate at 90mph. glock factory tests their pistols with a straight drop down onto its backplate loaded from two stories. you just cant get the energy required to move the trigger safety back before you would move the standard trigger after. the safety just catches the frame. its mostly a myth from people who bash glocks and have no idea what they are capable of.

  • your nuts with the mistreating your gun, but goes to show the quality that glock puts into their guns.

  • lol wit if u dropped it and u got shot in the corner of the eye?

  • @AmazingKnifeThrower He safety checked the firearm several times before dropping it, And if you did get shot in the eye you would most likely die...

  • I say that your drop test(s) had a slight flaw. Not only was the grass/dirt even softer because of the rain, but you weren't really dropping it that hard. I'm not saying go throw it off of a building onto concrete, but you should probably throw it onto the ground with some moderate force. Maybe even skip it off the ground a few times (to simulate a drop while running). That's when a safety is likely to fail. Not just dropping half hazardly on the wet grass. May as well have used a pillow. ;)

  • the dirt and water absorbs most of the fall so would it be the same if fallen on say like concrete?

  • i was so nervous it would brake every time you dropped it

  • Rockin' rain coat, Jeff!

  • Cutlerylover thank you so much for posting all of your videos you do such a great job at it especially safety and like 27dcx said your videos are so relaxing and fun to watch with that all being said can you get back in the zippo phase ive just got my first zippo recently and would like some more pointers and tricks and i have watched most of your previous vids thanks

  • Its a tool after all!

  • i wont be convinced till you drive a tank over it, ak style

  • HAHAHAHA!!! LMAO!! I'm not sure why, but somehow it's hilarious watching a guy toss his gun into mud puddles. Very effective demonstration though. Good video.

  • ur in PA????? me to!

  • Was there a concern that the trigger would go off if dropped in a puddle or in wet grass? Because I would thing a 'jarring' impact would be more likely to effect the trigger... I'm not asking you to drop your gun on the cement or a rock - but if there is a concern, that is probably a more likely way for it to go off.

  • @1PATRI0T thats part 2

  • Your videos are always so relaxing...even your videos like this have some calming quality to them--maybe your confidence? You're one of the more "genuine" YouTubers I've come across. Again, great video!

  • @bpayne88 thanks

  • I love the slow motion splash shots. Almost like gun porno. lol.

  • Is that an aftermarket extractor? What's the reason behind that?

  • @uncleben03 yes and no, stock extracter that was chromed just for looks...

  • @uncleben03

    Its shiny.

  • i'm not trying to be a safety sally, but have you looked into the legality of disabling a safety device on a firearm? I tried to find some info on it but i wasn't too lucky. wouldn't want you to get into any trouble or anything and there are alot of wacky gun laws.

  • @27dcx so far ym short research shows no issues in PA, but its easily reversable if needed...

  • @27dcx It basically comes down to justification. Can you explain to a court room why you modified your trigger from say 6 lbs down to 3lbs? if not, then its probably not a good idea. same with safeties. I have no manual safeties to disengage (SA XD9, and a keltec pf9) in my carry guns.....but if i did, i would probably find a different gun. If you cant explain why, then don't.

  • You should make this a permanent segment called "Kay.. I'm just gonna throw this shit around now". This video had me rolling on the floor laughing.

  • will the results be the same if you throw the glock to the ground or if the gun is hot

  • @cutlerylover you should be a hitman, i hear theres good money in that line of work :L

  • Boy . . . looks really wet there Jeff!

    Nice update video. Thanks!

  • you've lost some weight man, i'm glad to see it, and I love the video. Keep up the good work :D

  • i dont know why i laughed so much at you dropping your gun

  • an unloaded gun dont hit the ground as hard...

  • @derekgrebner87 thats why I redid the video on concreate fully loaded video to come

  • @derekgrebner87 That's actually a very good point. And chances are, if it's gonna fall, it's gonna be while running, increasing the impact even more.

  • If you drop it on a hard surface on the back of the butt it actually might go off.

  • hay now thats heel on your gun right

  • very cool

  • on a older video i thought you said you were going to remove the after market back plate on that. why haven't you done that yet?

  • @dragkid185 I did, on my carry gun this is my target gun

  • What trigger is that Jeff?

  • @RobbieGTV aluminum adjustable from rockyourglock...inner safe action piece removed, I ahve a seperate video on the trigger

  • u didnt drop it on pavement

  • hey can you list the mods you have on that glock plz. haha and people dont think glocks are safe haha thats with a light trigger to

    thanks and great vid

  • you should have tested it when it was loaded.... woulda been more intense.

  • Where can I purchase that trigger?

  • well the ground is softer when wet so you should retest on something harder

  • Drop it on a hard surface??

  • @Pirjon yes yes just filmned an update with new test on conreete, it will take an hour or 2 to convert it and edit in text plus a few hours to upload expect it tomorrow

  • @cutlerylover hahahaha Better your gun then mine! hahahaha

  • Looking Soggy there!! Your new Camera is looking good!! Would have loved to see you empty a magazine through it after all the water and mud!! Nice vid!!

  • @Lookinformemarbles hah thats for another vid

  • @cutlerylover I will be waiting!! Lol Thanks again Jeff for your help!!

  • So is this a Hollywood myth or are some firearms sensitive to drops?

All I know is the WWII "Greasegun" had no safety, was fairly dangerous to carry loaded.

How big an issue is this?

  • Great Video.......

  • The glock is drowning, noo!

  • i have a glock and im sure it wont hurt it but i still couldnt do it lol

  • Well if there are videos of people dragging Glocks behind trucks and them not firing... I hope a drop and a throw wouldn't make it discharge.

Thanks for the video either way!

  • @mememe123xyz those tests are done with a stock glock trigger with the safe action trigger in it and ALL the standard trigger slack, this test was done with an aftermarket trigger with the safety removed and all the slack taken out...thats why I wanted to test it, lol

  • lol u drop it like its a toy

  • Cool test !! and I love the slow motion, is that the camera or your software? (it's very clear)

  • @GunWebsites software, pinacle studio plus

  • its been raining here in philly all day yesterday and now today

  • Hey Jeff,

I really enjoyed the video, thanx. Q: What advantages do you see in this trigger over the stock Glock trigger except perhaps lighter trigger pull?

  • @101goodenergy101 well its fully adjustable thats about the only advantage, its metal but I never heard of the plastic ones breaking so thats not an issue...but you can take out trigger slack and overtravel

  • Great vid!

  • hope you had fun cleaning this ^^

  • fuck safety

  • @rooster8090 fuck you if you think 'fuck safety'. your the reason its hard to buy guns

  • @rooster8090 fuck you

  • @rooster8090 If everybody would be as mentaly retarted as you are we had 100 dead People by the end of the Year because of Idiots leaving their Guns on the Table, unlocked and with the Magazine inserted. Respect the Weapon or pay the Price

  • now you should make a video of field stripping and cleaning it

  • i was playing this video withhout sound and couldnt help myself saying ..."excuse me kind sir but you seem to have dropped your glock" lol

  • what about on a hard surfaces because the ground wont absorbe the impact, i would fully understand if you didn't want to because of scratches of dents but dropping it on a suggy patch of grass is highly unlikely if you worry about it going off and hurting someone

  • You proved the trigger won't go off, but your proved glocks love to jump in puddles.

  • what about on a hard surfaces because the ground wont absorbe the impact, i would fully understand if you didn't want to because of scratches of dents but dropping it on a suggy patch of grass is highly unlikely if you worry about it going off and hurting someone

  • Cant belive u did that with your gun!

  • Comment removed

  • @cutlerylover is the gun loaded when you dropped it. and it looks like ya'll got alot of rain

  • Well concrete or asphalt might have a different result but I don't know.

  • yet another reason to buy one

  • dose your glock go fully auto? cause i know some models do.

  • That doesnt seem good for your glock.

  • Good, good to see it still works. Do you like the new trigger more?

  • when you dropped it in the puddle it became a real water gun.

  • I would really like to see it dropped on the backside of the firearm. The front doesn't force the trigger to go backwards. If you drop the gun on its side and front how does that push the trigger backwards?

  • Glock: why, why are you doing this to me????

    Jeff: Just because

  • Smurf haha

  • But when dropping with a full mag, then the firearm will be heavier. Plus harder surfaces. But I understand if you don't want to drop your glock on the pavement. =]

  • @dkfa ughh, lol always another variable, if I do that test someone will say to drop it with one in the chamber too since thats a realistic test as well, lol...I dont mind dropping on pavement, another video for the future I guess...

  • @cutlerylover try doing it with blanks, more realist weight?

  • haha gettin fancy with your drops

  • try dropping on harder surfaces.

the grass absorbs the drop mass.

if dropped on hard floor, maybe x4 of the the grass.

  • i wish i was bold enough to throw my glock around.

  • Cool! Nice to know

  • second:)

  • Ii do believe I am first!

  • @Bassman018 yes, unfortunately there is no prize, lol

  • @cutlerylover I wish, you do sweet giveaways, I hope I can win soon!

  • @Bassman018 NO I IS D:< lol jk
