Yes . the only rule is. you cant put up yout stick when you are cheking. you cant punch or elbow. and you can just make 3 steps before hitting someone. so theoreticly that is a correct hit. but you should never hit someone from the behind. that is very dangerous becouse the neck protection in hocky doenst protect your head when you get a hit from behind so you can be injured by that.
