  • You Boots need to re-evaluate....Yay for your comments. It seems like you only focus on the you-tube video's that 'fit for your ego...get over it.. LISTEN and LEARN...You EGO is LESS than stellar right now...it's not about you. Think about it...

  • BALLS!!!!!

  • My guys are as quick as they come and this promo video doesn't tell the whole story or getting out. Nice video though...

  • Most LAFD station really do get out that quick. I came from a small department and most of the rumors are true. It was overwhelming learning the City's operations but we have a method to the organized madness.

  • well put

  • He did get his hood on pretty quick there though.

  • Thatsa pretty cool spot...

  • Oh okay. Thats cool

I am used to the Columbus, Ohio Fire Department and we do thing s a little differently

    But I love this video

  • Now don't get me wrong, I love the video. I even added it to my favorites, but if you pay attention, they didn't even dispatch a Ladder, yet that tiller pulled out pretty quickly

  • It was a Task Force 33 response. A Task Force is a truck, engine and engine based at one station.

  • I love Task Force 66, its bomb

  • this is 33s. but yeah 66s is.

  • ok yea, Just saw the LAFD Explorers on a call to an accident, they do some cool things, it was actually LAco Explorers to be correct.

  • a ladder? LAFD the truck is in the TASK FORCE a TASK FORCE consists of a Engine 200 Series Engine also known as the PUMP and Of course the TRUCK the truck never goes out alone usually with a lite force PUMP and TRUCK so when u hear task force its the truck going as well we don't have ladders on our dept. only trucks. hope this answered your questions.

  • How does it work in the LAFD? Do you choose if you are on an engine, truck, fireboat, etc?

  • no on your probationary period you spend 4 months on a engine house your on the engine then after 4 months then on truck house your on the truck then after that rescue house your on the rescue ambulance then so on and then your assigned to a house after. and rotate engine truck rescue your not just on one depends on house hope i answered your question.

  • Little messed up in the explanation. First house: Truck; Second House: Single Engine house; Third House: Task Force Engine, also on your Third house you're allowed to work on the 800 rescues

  • at my house the first house rookies there on the engine. it all depends i guess

  • Ended up getting a better explanation. Just depends on what spots are open. Sometimes it's Engine First, Truck Third, or vice versa

  • 20 bucks that guy was either thinking "woo hoo going to work" or "damn it not another one"

  • Its station 33, so probably the second one. THey get a good amout of fire.

  • maybe but if it was me i'd be saying woo hoo going to work... but that's my personal opinion

  • true, but 2-4fires a day puts a tole on the firefighters

  • I hear that 2-4 fires in a row pretty much makes me go holy crap

  • Sweet video!

  • Its task force 33, engine 57, engine 64, rescue 33, battalion 13 and EMS 13

  • Engine 64, Engine 67, Rescue 33, Battalion 13.

  • engine 57 not 67

  • hey that firefighter has the same last name as me.

  • TASK FORCE 33..... they dont call it Fire city for nothing ..... get some

  • Yes they do.

  • try once every other day

  • They ran initially on LA City 35 as part of the LAFD in Action show and we're putting together a plan now to run them on broadcast TV.

  • are these videos actually played on t.v, and if so what channel
