  • The cadenza from Hummel is really beautiful and it changes of Beethoven cadenza

  • It's start ok but after it's really awful! :-))

  • Who's the pianist?

  • I just have to say, what a cacophonous farrago!

  • Wonderful!!!

  • very well written cadenza ... needs to be heard more often

  • com'è brutta!

  • this is concert for solo piano.

  • Who is playing?

  • Oo didn't know this cadenza had been recorded before! You can tell where Wilhelm Kempff got his ideas from for parts of his cadenza now..

  • Didn't like this. There's not a single trace of Mozart in this Cadenza!

  • @stilldirrtylover That's 'cause it was composed by Alkan! ;)

  • @stilldirrtylover That's why I love it!!!

  • I really like 3:50 to the end

  • I wish Alkan had done a cadenza for Mozart's Piano Concerto in c minor : (

  • Well. Considering the stylistic difference between Mozart and Beethoven, I would say this is very well done. It's in the original composer's spirit, just as his Beethoven 3rd shows.

  • mozarty melody much?

  • Where u got audio?

  • Haha, just like the Beethoven Concerto cadenza, when it got to 1:12, I was like "Jupiter Symohony? WHAT?" Hahaha!! Good ole' Alkan!!

  • @DarkMaestro88 then do not look for and then comment on this video which is obviously a waste of your time.

  • @cloudftw93 waste of my time is an understatement.

  • @DarkMaestro88 and yet you still keep coming back to this cideo and replying to its messages, seriously? stop wasting your time and undermiming peoples tastes in music, i like it, you dont, stop your trolling.

  • @cloudftw93 The main thing is why did you feel the need to comment on my opinion of this cadenza thus causing an argument? If anything you're the one who is undermining peoples taste in music. Furthermore I did not look for this cadenza, I had just happened to click on this video as it was a suggestion to one of the videos I was watching.

  • @DarkMaestro88 Exactly! Its rubbish.

  • I love this cadenza it is so wonderful and true to the spirit of Mozart.

  • I congratulate you greatly .. very beautiful this interpretation......................

  • I agree with OSK. This would be an amazing cadenza to whip out on an unsuspecting audience. I would love to see their eyes pop and jaws drop wondering what just hit 'em.

  • When you play the actual concerto, you should use this cadenza! I would if I played it.

  • Brings tears to my eyes.

  • For an amatuer recording, this is very good!
