You can totally draw comparisons between this track and some latter Kyuss.

This album was very special in its entirety; just the raw transistion with Homme, from band member, to front man/singer; and the unique and authentic sound he managed to let escape. The first album's always special though, especially with QOTSA. It shaped them and they haven't discouraged the mould they've formed 'over the years AND through the woods'.

It's not like there was a scene such as the 60's where bands like hendrix and the who came up at roughly the same time.
