December 8, 1980 - John Lennon (singer/guitarist/composer, THE BEATLES) was shot to death by a man named Mark David Chapman as he (Lennon) and his wife Yoko Ono returned to their New York apartment in The Dakota. His body was cremated at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York. Ono scattered his ashes in New York's Central Park, where the Strawberry Fields memorial was later created.
@RonDAXEN Please, don't write the name of that motherf....r again. Let´s just say "shot to death by a motherf....r" or something like that. This is what he was looking for when he deciden to kill John: the world to know his name and his face. So my point is: let's forget this motherf....r.
At my camp, we had a traveling through time theme, so one of the time periods was the 60s. They played absolutely no Beatles music for the 60s. I was like, what?? That has to be illegal or something.
@AdamLambertsVoice no...i think its john singing this one...george and paul are singing backin vocals....if you listen to do you want to know a secret, which was wirtten around this time, you will see that the two voices are completely different
