I highly recommend watching The Edge of Night episdes during the early 80's . Suspense ,trials and even when you think you know who done it... you'd be wrong. Oh and lot's of romance. Type in the seach section Raven's rage. Wow!! And yep PG fucked up again by cancelling the show. Ryan and Vickie and Cass and Frankie two of the best super couples ever. AW was never the same after losing the actors who played Ryan and Frankie. A shame

i am a 22 year old male and i started watching this about a month before cancellation and i got hooked. like the frankie lookalike story. i skipped days from school to see how the lila/cass/annes story would unfold. i was so heartb roken to hear that the show was going to be cancelled. someone pass the tissues. sniff sniff !!!

I came on board right as they were switching Lornas and Justine had just entered the picture (late '94 I believe... it was around my first yr of college). Anyway, I know how you feel. I grew up on ABC but had friends in college who followed the NBC shows so I followed them too. I remember watching SB at 3 a.m. (when it would repeat) as a paper-writing break during all-nighters. LOL! Ahhh, the good ol' days. Now we have Soap Net.
the entire bobby/shane story was ridiculous because it seems the storyline was changed. one minute he was a guy from texas who received ryans eyes and next thing you know he's a doctor with an ex wife named lila
I know what you mean. You missed the entire Vicky/Ryan stuff - that was GREAT! Jensen Buchanan was even nominated for an Emmy for the scenes involving Ryan's death. Some long-time viewers point to Paul Michael Valley (I think is his name?) leaving the show as the first nail in AW's coffin. The definite blow for me was Frankie's death - THAT was unforgiveable!!!! Had me in therapy for weeks! :(
Cried so much when Frankie died she was a mainstay. Never got how Vicky and Marly looked so different when they went with the stupid kidnapping story. That didn't work for me. When Jensen Buchanan played both it was better. Vicky could be a bitch but a bitch with a heart
so many great actors on this show...Rachel, Mac, Donna, Michael, Paulina, Iris, Amanda, Felicia, gosh so many it's such a shame the show ended and with so so many talented actors.

i loved this opening. i remember when i home from school during the summer . i would watch aw just to see this opening. as much as i love it.. i think that it would have been a better opening for day of our lives. lord know they need an update.

Ahhh... the addition of Bobby Reno with Ryan's eyes. It WAS nice to see RKK OFF of DAYS and the real Bo Brady back but I preferred Vicky w/Jake.
