if you dont want to much lightning you need a camera with a as big lens as you can get,

because the bigger the lens, the less the frame rate will suffer by light

Colors play the most important role. So the camera you use is important. The higher the resoliuton - the better the software can lock on a controller. Lighting is also important, so it affects frame rate. If you want to get all this working properly your controller has to have a high contrast over other things in your room including you ;D

As you can see conditions must be optimum: lighting, good webcam, object used etc. don't forget that this software is still in its beta stages
