The vocals are great. As a soon as the harmonisation of "God keeps his eye on us all" kicked in, I was won over. Nice band too. The keyboards fill in well for the original orchestration.

And why all this reverb on the vocals? Do you pretend to sing in a giant church? It doesn't match the comparably direct drum sound, which I like.

Lastly, you seem to be having a lot of fun singing at 3:25 about 'nothing but the dead & dying in my little town'. Curious.

Nevertheless, a reasonable rendition. Just take it another step or two ahead.

Nice cover to a great song. One thing--the change from "Pledge allegiance" to "Pledge alliance" loses something--as Europeans, you may not be familiar with the American Pledge of Allegiance that schoolchildren recite every morning in the classroom to a flag hanging on a wall (and thus, Simon's cynicism in his statement).

Great singing/cover! Drums sound tinny and flat (good playing, but the drums themselves need adjusting), bass needs boosting, and reverb is overdone, especially on guitars. These small issues are preventing you guys from attaining a truly full sound.

Great stuff though.
