Hi i love this song. Im 14 and i have a 4 year old newfoundland pony mare on change islands NL theres a newfoundland pony refuge here that has 13 ponies. We have horseback rides and carriage rides.

Alright, as a lifetime horse owner I just want to set some things out for you. The issue with the BLM euthanizing the wild horses? Its extremely needed. Have you ever seen a starved horse? How about masses of them starving to death because there is not enough graze? I'd rather they be euthenized than suffer through harsh winters and starvation and die slowly. And the hay prices? Its not that we don't want to keep our horses its that we can't. You cannot imagine the price of keeping a horse.

When I was a kid, I lived in a small town...THere was a horse corral full of horses on the outskirts...every day after school I would ride my bicycle to visit my friends the horses... They were always glad to see me... I love these majestic animals...

Some people aren't as lucky or rich as you, but would jump at the chance to be in your position . If people are less fourtunate than you, you shouldn't make them feel stupid or inferior by implying that you do not properly love horses unless you ride and groom them every day like yourself

I agree with Justine8172. horses smell of grass, sunshine, the wind, and earth. Their mess is nothing compared to meat eating pets' smell, and they're wonderful to be around.
i would die if horses didn't exist. they are my purpose for living! i would lock myself up in my room with no food or water and die if horses went extinct or if something went wrong with them. I would want to feel the exact way they feel when they were slaughtered, even though i did nothing wrong, to show how much i love them

I agree also ilovekhira. They're not smelly livestock. 1. They smell VERY good. A lot of people think they reak. I guess horse lovers are the only once who don't notice lol. 2. I love horses and I want to own many as I get older. Ever heard the saying "Animals Don't Go to Heaven?" Well, horses can prove those people wrong. hey i love horses A LOT! I lost my throughbred (pure blood) when he was 5 and I had him since he was 2! I miss him soo much. I am getting a new one either tomorrow or sunday, I don't know for positive

I agree with Justine8172. horses smell of grass, sunshine, the wind, and earth. Their mess is nothing compared to meat eating pets' smell, and they're wonderful to be around.

i would die if horses didn't exist. they are my purpose for living! i would lock myself up in my room with no food or water and die if horses went extinct or if something went wrong with them. I would want to feel the exact way they feel when they were slaughtered, even though i did nothing wrong, to show how much i love them

I agree also ilovekhira. They're not smelly livestock. 1. They smell VERY good. A lot of people think they reak. I guess horse lovers are the only once who don't notice lol. 2. They are more like pets not livestock. THANK GOD that they finally banned horse slaughter in the US. But they still slaughter in other countries :(

Countries like gooksville, india, and other stupid raunchy countries..... FOOLS...I have a full bred Arabian Black stallion and a Golden Palamino... The stallion is a male...His name is Johnny Cash, and MY palamino's name is June Carter :) They are my babies...and they love my German Shepherds and my dogs love them too...

Almost the whole history in the world couldn't be made without horses. The world wouldn't be what it is today without them. Only some people truly know what I'm talking about. I think horses were the true settlers in the world. Not the conquistedors or the cowboys. The horse is before the human in every way. A lot of people would say to me that's totally not true. But it is. That's why so many people ignore the most beautiful creatures in the world.

I TOTALLY agree with that. Horses are the only reason that America was settled. Not only that, but they bring beauty and hope to the world. Why do some people only view them as smelly livestock? I can't understand how anyone could not like something so passionate, intelligent, and beautiful.

you're a great song writer. I love horses so much I can't put it in words. If horses were never created I wouldn't be in this world. They are my life. I can't see why many people don't see the beauty, strength, and passion in these animals. They teach us so much and people don't even notice. So many people abuse and neglect them and it's wrong. Sometimes I wish I could share with the world the tightest bond I have with horses and they should open up to them.

I ride western But I've riden english before! I've Been riding since I could walk My Grandma has a mustang Gelding and a Arabian Mare (the first horse i've ever riden) But I've been taking western Lessons for three years! =]
