for someone with your mechanical ability,fitting a cnc kit on your milling machine and lathe would be an easy proposal.

as a CNC programmer and machinist, i am forever impressed with Skill , a good machinist can operate subpar equipment well beyond its capabilitys and produce wonders . its a pity that you dont have a Haas tm-1 and a rotary table , or an old dynamechatronics and a rotary , say 15 to 25 k ;-)

How do you get the diffuser vanes all precisely the same, I don't see anyone doing this by hand getting it right?

a template plate creates the vane shape, this is reapted for every vane.

@TheTruthHurtsYup pure skill & genius. think ge used to use blind people to inspect gas turbine compression blades in the 70's.humans are still better @ a lot of things might just take longer.

@TheTruthHurtsYup ye of little faith this was being done decades before cnc to the same exacting tolerances cnc is just faster.

You need a super x3 mill with a 4 axis cnc kit for this part.
