Hmm.. Perhaps they will re-open this in a further expansion pack? It is a very interesting idea. Maybe during the catacylistic (hope I spelt that right) disaster, there is a gap or something which gives access to the area, and possibly the kobolds could be a reputable non-playable race, like the Scryers. once i started playing private servers i have found some sites with very nice stuff

one had a custom bg made from a modified copy of org, most of the building were on fire and it had the sky from CoT, along with npc vs npc fighting... to get in you would use a costum hearthstone that would bring you to you factions side, then take an elevator down to the org bg...

but that server was taken down=(
