Very nice playing. I received two Takanaka sheet music books with backing music CD's for Christmas. I haven't had a chance to really get into them yet, but I will. They have the tabs, chords and music notation. They're really awesome. Then, maybe I'll play as well as you do.

Thanks, I'm English, I first heard Takanaka when I saw a video of ready to fly with santana, after seeing that I bought a few Takanaka cds ;O)

I'm from England too. I first heard him when I was stationed in Japan in the early 80's. The first time I heard "Samba Pati", I had no idea that it was a Santana original. The original sounds dirty compared to Masayoshi's.

I also have two of his song books that are out of print.

Wow a guy in England that's even heard of Takanaka is surprising enough. Yeah i'm there too at the moment temporarily.  People around here don't even know Hendrix, they think it's some guy that plays snooker for some reason. And if they know Santana it's only from 1999 onwards which is most unfortunate. If I said Mahavishnu to them their minds would implode hah. So I applaud you! That alone is worth a 5! And not only that.. YOU CAN PLAY TAKANAKA TOO! Great. Deserves a 5 for sure!

I hear of Takanana some years ago, he's a really good player...infact this is one of my favorites of his and Takanaka's version of Europa i like it a bit more than Santana's version but ofcourse old Santana is good. I dont like the newer stuff he's been doing. Greetings from Mexico
