@NPFfumbi Scaption makes it easier to control the scapula however will not change a poor scapular stabilization pattern. The client will still have to develop both a stable scapulothoracic articulation as well as eccentrically control the scapul as the arm returns from an overhead or pressing type motion. Front and lateral raises are very challenging for most clients to control and are best left for after they have developed optimal scapulothoracic control. Hope that helps.
Would you say that shoulder scaption would contribute to this as well (upper trap/levator dominance)?
