The original, v the final battle and v the tv series did not have a clearly definned ending (maybe the tv series kind of did) my question is: are qritters going to expand on the sti line or would it be just more of the same? please give me your opinion on this. Thanks

I have dvr'd every episode this season. I love the music in this promo. i believe the actors are doing a very decent job in portraying the characters of the show and think they will be successful enough for a third season. We know all too well that ABC is known for cancelling great shows; flash forward, the gates, happy town etc. hopefully this one will last past its current season. I'll continue to watch.

I do like how the main actors who are V's do have a creepy almost non-human look to them.  Anna is hot but her neck and clavicle are kinda off.

I do like the show, but one thing bugs me. You can't just put skin on a different species and make it look human. To explain that I would have the V's be bio mimics that early in their evolution developed the ability to morph into other successful species (kinda like genetic borgs) Now that they are highly evolved, they use technology to take there natural morphing further but that puts them at risk of becoming the species they are trying to take over.

@usetheluck Maybe it's because you're probably way into your 50's or 60's right now, but the old one definitely sucked. This one, has way more action, and WAY more fun. Still, old people WILL like their old things, right? So afraid of change.

@Dreamstarr77 At last a fan that can accept it for what it is.. It's one of the issues with the Original fans / Veeks.. They can't accept it for what it is.. Of course the Original Mini - Series and Final Battle is way better than this, but it's a different time, efx, feel etc.. The New Series will be getting better episode by episode, to the point you will be pissed off when ABC says they won't be doing a Season Three..

@Dreamstarr77 : I was willing to give this show a chance unless that whole "Bliss" episode. After that I said, "you can have this mess." HOWEVER, bringing in Jane Badler to reprise her role as 'Diana' is brilliant and from that aspect alone I'm interested in giving it another chance. Now if they can find a way to sneak Marc Singer in there to reprise his role as 'Donavan' then I'll REALLY get excited. It's never a bad idea to show a 'little' linkage to the past.

Diana looks amazing. Jane Badler is almost 60. I hope that I can look that good when I am that age. I wish that they had Marc Singer in the first episode instead of last. IF this season was like the first one, then it will get canceled for sure. I stopped watching after 4 episodes. I am coming back due to the veteran actors. Funny how the 80s miniseries had less technology and money, but came out much better. It just shows that money cannot beat acting talents.

Oh... one last nitpick from the 1st season. The cinematography was, for most parts, quite bland and near-monochrome in color representation at times. I'd like a bit more variation and more vividness into the colors. Bleak, washed out colors/cinematography is uninspiring for this kind of series...

Yes, the writing needs to be more focused (1st season was all over the place, all the time, and subsequently there was very little cohesion, building up of tension or any slowly unraveling wholesome mystery) and the CGI better. Real set pieces (especially ship interiors) would be a lot better than fake-looking CGI...

@fledermaus81 I like the CGI except when they do the actual visitors. They don't look human enough to get away with just growing skin over them. They should be skinnier and bonier with teeth and hands like ours. When they show V teeth it is just so fake looking.

@DarrensVideoShow Totally agree.. The Original captured us cause it was something new and the who Nazi feel to it captured us..

The New Series, is harder for the fans to get into as it's not the same, and is updated with the Sleeper Cell / Terriost feel.. I will say, I've read a few of Season Two's scripts, and they have lift their game.. So this season will be a lot better, plus Jane Badler ( Diana ) is making her entrance Episode One, and Marc Singer ( Mike Donovan ) in the season Finale..

@TheVisitorsVids I know, seeing the preview for season two and Diana turning up is just great. It's good to see V the new series upping their game next year. I would say though, I hope we get to see the V soldiers on the streets in their hopefully classic miltary outfits. You never know eh?

I concur and it took me a bit to "really" get interested and remembering back in the 80's of the V" version. Its finally and slowly gaining my interest and weloming back Jane Badler; I was so hyped. She was my fave female villian.

As pointed out its the time gap and audience of the 80's and the present.

I was so young at the time though.. all I saw were aliens, and spaceships, and i rooted for the visitors... not till I got older and saw it again did I see the parallels... However, I think the new series is just as good because it is a different time... post 9/11... and I like their approach that anyone could be a "V". The show now has is footing and I think Season 2 is gonna be awesome. Can not wait!!!
