WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW i love this video!!
I also wanted to say that the solid colored twinkle lights were from the 70's, I recall a neighbor in my block had her front windows decorated with the solid color twinkling lamps, my parents never liked anything in the window or the tree blinking! I did something one year, in the late 80's when they introduced the 100 light midget sets with every fourth light twinkling, I used them on the tree with the steady lights, the folks loved it. The tree looked like it was glistening.
I admire your efforts, the end result is fantastic! I have several C-7 strings, and I have many bubble lights to. This Christmas I went all out, I used three 25 light sets, and two 15 light sets, my strings are from here and there, they are however made by General Electric, they are the green molded sockets with the hard green metal clip, they are from the late 60's, the 15 light strings are more recent, from the 90's. I pick up the colored aluminum reflectors on Ebay when ever I find them.
That is just awsome, it reminds me of the tree i had when i was young. I love the old lights, they are so much more fun to look at than the new lights they sell these days.

I love the way you put the bubble lights and the C7 twinkling lights on your tree, it's just so beautiful.

Awesome. Nothing like the older screw in light bulbs...it totally makes the tree.

awesome! i have all of these plus more. the red berry beads work better then the clips but they are an earlier version. sets of 7 are more common.

My bubble lights are 10-15 years old. Sadly I got strings of standard lights that won't even last 4 years old.
