  • I just bought this game - two of them for me and my mate - looked soo cool and all...

But the Auto-aiming is a serious screw-up. I just need to keep enemy within range and more or less within big circle in the middle of the screen. He can dodge, change angles, speeds, doesnt matter. Gets whole bunch right up in the arse.I'm so bloody dissapointed i bought it. Such a lame feature, takes all pleasure of combat away. I could turn MDTS off, but still it auto aims, just within smaller circle.Crap :(

  • i def think freespace 2 is much better this graphics are a joke to my eyes. i mean seriously... i couldnt watch this more than an hour max even if it has awesome gameplay.

  • @SHuffleHardDieTryinG Freespace 2 is from 1999 and it looks like shit, put down the crack pipe. Even with the Freespace 2 Open mod there is no support for it and its buggy and takes way too much time to get it up and running.

  • @Warpath2198 it looks better then this game hands on, it definitly is easy to install lol ( i bet u never tried and its bugfree for much as i know.)

  • And this is made of ONE human

  • The music COMPLETELY ruins the video.

  • @fracture82 your comment completly ruins the video

  • There is multiplayer in this game too!? :o

    How does it work? :D

I'm really tempted to get it now!

  • Who´s from is the music ?? I like it

  • @TheOlymoon The music is a mix of various artists from The Vocal Trance Session (Dance music Podcast) with Sonneydeejay. You can subscribe free to that podcast and hear some great trance music. This particular one was called Superstring 141.

  • Love the video, song was perfect. What's the name of it, if you don't mind?

  • Lazer n' phasers R awesome ~ any alternate weapons ~ though:

  • i really would get it but its so slow paced takeing ages to go any where unless you use after burnners and then your fuel drops insanely so i dont think ill get it i just am not patient enough

  • @backstaber1698 that's why there's a jump drive...

  • @backstaber1698 There is a jump drive your supposed to use for long distance travel. Its called the fulcum drive in the game. Hit F1 to bring up your nav map, zoom out with the wheel, right click a sector where you want to jump, left click for a specific location or right click on a station to auto set coordinates. Hit launch or F2 to jump. Better fulcum drives let you jump more sectors at a time. I can't even fathom traveling without it.

  • should i buy it on steam or is it free if u just download from there website

  • @backstaber1698

It´s not free from the website,so you obviously have to pay either way. I recommend getting it from their website since the developer makes more money that way.

  • @backstaber1698 As MrArach666 says, it's not free but for what you get it's pretty cheap and it's almost totally a one-man-band developer who works on it in his spare time. There is a free demo you can download from the website then if you choose to buy it you download a key which unlocks the rest of the game without need for further download.

  • its x2: the threat but FUN!

  • whats the max number of players the game can support?

  • @nimmivids Not sure exactly. I think it might depend on which server you join. The most I've ever seen was about 20 players on at any one time. You can check the website forum for a more accurate answer.

  • This game actually looks like fun! :-)

  • @ligthert It is! Especially multiplayer... that's where the game really comes into its own. Because it's so vast and open-ended you can just go off exploring for hours and having adventures with other players. The newtonian-style physics makes combat really interesting too.

  • If you play solo, there is a weird A.I bug, even if you haven't done anything wrong, there might be a enemy which will attack you, and then every body else will do it too, even if you didn't shot back, at all. The developer should pay a little more attention.

  • @Ryuuken24 Hostiles will always attack you regardless of whether or not you shoot at them. Also sometimes one of your excalibur missiles can stray off after destroying the target and it will lock on to a friendly if there aren't any more hostiles nearby. That can cause the rest of the friendlies to become hostile. Of course there may be a bug... are you running the latest build? The developer usually responds very efficiently if you let him know about any bugs through the game forum.

  • @Sinbad1006 That's where you go wrong, I DON'T attack enemies back, I played for trade a long time, and it always happened, and I had to load the game at a earlier point, and the enemy would be gone. I gave up playing the game 3 months ago, I'm waiting for a big update, since I have got everything of ship and weapons update, so I want something new in the game, either better graphics, or new stuff.

  • Awesome! What version of Evochron is this? I have never tried its multiplayer, and from what i can see it looks cool!

  • @travideo20 The game is Evochron Mercenary (link to website in description). I'm using a couple of mods here... one for the nebulas and another for the HUD (check out the website forum for mods). Yes multiplayer is great fun... really adds a whole new dimension to the game. You can join up with other pilots to explore, carry out missions, or to PvP. The online community is very friendly and you'll rarely ecnounter immature behaviour. Most popular mp server is Remula 1 and its free to use.
