  • Sedaka .......... GeNiUs !!!!!!!

  • My all-time favorite NS song. Neil is a national treasure...

  • Ele e tao liiindo *-* aaaaain

  • This is so great! I have it on one of Neil's albums But I never saw the video before. Thank you so much for sharing the music of this great singer and songwriter. And just listen to those sweet harmonies! Gorgeous!

  • Room through a tear?

  • wow....i really luv this song....it's so soothing to my empty heart...thank you sir...!!!

  • this was a good sized hit on 560 WHYN Springfield Mass - thanks 4 posting!

  • worst audience ever !!

  • 2:13 - 2:19 look at the gomer far left hand side of screen, mouth hanging open. he looks like he's in a coma

  • @kcmet79 lol hell yeah he does lol... :) - Good one for spotting that out! :)

  • one of my fav songs from my parents' oldies mix tapes growing up. lol.

  • Ah..., sounds like bossa nova...I enjoy a lot!

  • EPIC FAIL! 1:37 BUT I RESPECT HIM!

  • @isrracamarena that wasn't a fail... he's not supposed to sing during that part, the background singers are (check the orig. recording)

  • There must have been an "applause" sign somewhere because the audience was ready to clap a little too soon. Didn't really look like Neil was through yet.

  • LOVN THIS SONG! HE'S GOT A GREAT VOICE

  • There's a guy named Roy Wood and his band Wizzard, who imitates Sedaka. Check him out, especially See My Baby Jive, and Angel Fingers!!!

  • @chuckdee121 Roy Wood's Come Back Karen off of Eddie and the Falcons sounds more like Sedaka than Sedaka.

  • Finally!! I had to go through almost every Neil Sedaka song to find my favorite of his! This is such a great version and the studio version is so much better then this version. The studio version really brings out the "other-worldly" of the song--very ethereal and melancholy. Such a great, great, GREAT song!!!!!!

  • 1965 seems like yesterday when I last heard this. Great, great sound.

  • reinaguera takes one to know one ...sweetie pie

  • What is he wearing!!!!

  • Beautiful. I've always loved this song. Thanks.

  • Great melody, yes indeed!

  • he's great!=)♥

  • @misschattahbox0106 not great!

  • handsome, talented a singer! how i love and admire Neil Sedaka! boys in the past were so simple and elegant in fashion... hope up to this day we are as innocent and the world is beautiful like the 30s,40s,50s,60s, and 70s. hope it would come back again.

  • Neil Sedaka is a musical genius.

Fans have a petition on the internet, to get him inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Please search here by 'sedaka rock hall"

  • I love Neil Sedaka, but he seems so gay! He has written so many beautiful songs, but I had not realized how effeminate he was/is. Oh well, who cares ,he is still great.

  • In an interview I read not long ago, he attributed his persona to being a great admirer of his older sister. He adopted her traits, and

    has tried to shake them.

Married a zillion years, and a great father

of a daughter who also has a wonderful voice.

  • Yeah, I always felt that too. He was a drunk to boot, but a classy artist all the way. He overcame alcoholism, and has always been one of the good guys in my opinion!!

  • Neil doesn't seems to be 'gay' at all - that's what I think.

He has been underestimated too much too many times...

Already more than 50 years in the business, who does better? ;)

  • His songs can last 4eva!!!

  • This is why I think George Michael, Boy George, and Morrisey should get off their high horses and follow this man's example....

  • He also sang Japanese Version titled " Omoide no komichi". Does enyone have that video?

  • I bought this one as a 45 too. written by the

    great Peter Allen.

  • good song, dunno if the video really fits the song tho.

  • at that time most videos were just the people and such...maybe some other people...but usually not much..

  • Good song but he wishes he could get out of there. I would like to see a close-up of the chick on the right.

  • i like it

  • I was huge fan of this song in early fall of 1965, I bought the 45 and it became a cherished hit among my friends (to this day). I can't believe someone had a video of it. Wow! Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Yessss! I was really happy to find this, too. It wasn't

the hit it deserved to be, but has always been one of

    my very favorites.

  • And another question was, just exactly was "open chillifine?" ("hopin' she'll appear)

  • The question I asked myself when this song was on the charts in 1965 was, what did the world throw a tear at?

  • Great stuff! Kudos from a fellow North Miamian.

  • Thank you for precious posting!

Neele is the singer who should be respected by anyone.
