  • Where do I put the cables on the back of TV? What source do I choose from the TV menu? I'm trying Antenna from years ago, I get nothing. No channels.

  • @chilloften ehm, the antenna input? the cable shouldn't fit anywhere else...

  • lol nice, this is the cantenna for the HDTV

  • Antennas are nothing more than wire and math. Stick a peice of metal cut to a specific wavelength into the air, use the correct impedance of conductor, and you got an antenna. I have resonated wire, roof gutters, hammers, and rifle barrels. anything will work.

  • i tried this with a pizza pan but all i got was the Food Network! ba da Bing!

  • You just need a bigger pie tin... flying saucer size should do... just buy a wreaked flying saucer off eBay <day half every ting der... lol maxwell

  • I tried this, it didn't work. I think it doesn't work for people in fringe areas, like I am. Oh well.

  • @cadmiumblue Yes, this is more geared towards people in larger cities or people that are close to a tower :)

  • @bennyherber Well, that explains it. That's what I thought. Oh well. lol.

  • @cadmiumblue i had to change my tv settings from cable to antenna..i wasnt getting anything at all then i switched the tuner mode to antenna and scanned for some channels and got a few...hope this helps!

  • @picpudotcom please read the description before posting a comment. seriously.

  • Cheap bastards unite!!

  • Damn, Outlaw Josey Wales is just about me all-time favorite movie!!!!

  • Could you make an in-depth tutorial showing how you made it?Thanks in advance

  • @TaufiqSafdar buy coax cable. cut one side off. strip to reveal bare copper wire (should be kinda thick, almost like a coathanger). plug one end into the tv, and touch the other stripped side to anything metal. a pan, a paperclip, anything really :D

  • @bennyherber Just tried it Im getting 7 channels this is beyond baws. Thanks man :D

  • @TaufiqSafdar :) The larger your metal is, and the higher it's placed (roof) the more channels you will get.

  • @TaufiqSafdar I now I have 18 channels 10 DTA and 8 Analog.Once again thanks man :)

  • interesting.......

  • Hey man can you do a tutorial on how to strip the wire? Im not very tech savy.

  • @DerrvilleProductions it's really simple. take scissor, cut off connector. then strip the jacket (outermost layer), then the copper insulation, then the plastic insulation, and then you will have your exposed, bare copper wire.

PS: sorry for the late reply, youtube wouldn't let me comment for a while :\

  • @bennyherber This was awesome dude. Worked like a charm, HD channels and 48 channels picked up total! Thanks!

  • So I'm assuming strip the wire to get to the middle center copper wire, then attach to pan?

  • @thursdavy yup :) just cut the connector off, then strip till you have about an inch of that single thick copper wire and tape/attach to pan with good contact :)

  • sorry for removing your comment, I meant to hit reply but it deleted it instead. SORRY!

  • @superkirby14 basically, it's just the small copper wire, taped to the pan
