  • It's not embarrassing, we could easily continue using the shuttles, but they are for lifting large loads, it's a waste to use a shuttle only to put a couple of people at a time on the space station. It costs way less to use Baikonur. + Russia is our friend now so Idn why its such a big deal. Our space program is still much more extensive and advanced regardless of who is shooting ppl up anyway.

  • Oh yea the Bar in Kansas ?

How many Pints per Kill ?

  • Maybe they should train the kids before they send them to kill other unarmed kids, at least then they can earn there stupid 300 dollars a week, without much blood on it. -

    90% Dead in WW1 was soildiers. ( Money well spent ? )

90% Dead in Iraq is Civilians. ( Squint Eastwood ?)

    Modern war or murder ?

  • Yes Boys Killing Kids is Emotional,

And regardless of what you all say, it will never escape the fact that thats what happens.

Emotional, Im sure thier familys agree.

Obviously the army is full of high school drop outs and thats why its such a diaster. Either way they are in in for the money. Sick really

  • The U.S. has always been dependent on other nations, and Russia has always been ahead of it when it comes to space (e.g. first in space), one way in another, even in most difficult of times. =)

  • Yeah RT imagine that bashing america...The best part is that america is not "incapable" of launching people in to outer-space....USA idiot president CANCELED NASA thats the real reason.....

  • This entrepreneur doesn't know what he's talking about. The US had no manned space flights from 1975 Apollo-Soyuz till the first Space Shuttle flight in 1981 (6 years). This is not an embarrassment. Many designs both government and private are competing to get the US back in the game. Consider this a breathing pause for more great things to come from the US.

  • America has no rockets going to space because they are all going to Iraq.

Killing kids 1000 miles away isn cheap these days.

If in doubt, they could always destroy the finiacial market then blame it on Islam.

( Dam Gorge what a Great Idea )

  • @MMPDWG Re: Your rant: I share your concerns about US foreign policy, but your rhetoric is not helpful and contains emotional & illogical arguments:

    1. The US is quite capable of launching probes into space & does launch satellites into orbit on a routine basis. There are ZERO weapons used in Iraq that NASA would ever need. The US does have an arsenal of deadly & reliable missiles that could destroy any opponent (Minuteman III, Trident D-5, & others) but these weapons are not used in Iraq.

  • @MMPDWG Point 2: Re: "killing kids in Iraq"---This is an emotional attempt to bash the USA, but the fact is that all sides (3 or 4 sides) in the Iraq war have "killed kids." US soldiers & airmen operate under the strictest rules of engagement of any armed forces in history & take great care to avoid civilian casualties. If you have the balls, come into a bar in downtown Junction City-Fort Riley, Kansas, & announce to the troopers in there that they are "child killers." I want to see the result!

  • roskosmos and interkosmos-usa are run by jar-jar-binks! (fucking idiots!) "kiss my big caucasian aryan saturn-5 moon rocket!"

  • RT = ZIONIST PROPAGANDA MACHINE

  • @neocon70 I font think Zionist but I do beleave propaganda machine

  • russia today! you never report on thousands of ufo alien abduction cases every year worldwide! you fucking suck! you suck the scabs of joe stalin's mummified balls! you don't report the truth! you are fucking liars! alien grays in flying saucers are here! wake up you russian retards!

Sorry, no eng sub there watch?v=LKhDnp35DLY&feature=related

  • russia today! wake up and report on all the flying saucer motherships that are parked in earth orbit!...get a fucking clue you communist dogshit scoopers!

  • strange how "russia today" never reports on the flying saucers and the space aliens that constantly buzz about the international space station! r.t. is just another mouthpiece of the flying saucer cover-up (covertly controlled by martian coneheads of the crystal skull cult!)

  • w w w . disclosureproject . org (c-seti and dr. stephen greer) flying saucers! ufos! space aliens! all real! all true! wake up you stupid chemical rocket fuckheads! thomas townsand brown electro-gravitic saucers...nazi vril haunebu (from aldebaran nordics)

  • ufo semjase plejaren at "semjase (english)"and "sukofu"...pleiadian nordic space people walk amoung us and bring secrets of the ancient astronauts!...."who are the overlords of the ufo?"

  • without "paperclip" nasa is fucked up!

  • I pray the vodka drunk russian retards don't fuck up any more rocket launches and get our american astronauts killed! russian space chimps are now in charge while we don't return to the moon!...

  • soyuz rocket sucks! proven cosmonaut killer! proton rocket sucks! can only put up tinkertoy space stations that can't rotate thus stuck in zero-g in low earth orbit...saturn-5-nova rockets could have put up rotating space wheels for gravity for crew!...

  • interkosmos-usa means nasa pays roskosmos $ 55,000,000. u.s. dollars a ticket for each american astronaut to mission on the i.s.s....(55 million $) / @ milwaukee

  • @8191921...really? What country do I live in then?

  • Congratulations!

  • alright im gonna say good things about the usa usa is awesome lets se how much hate you guys can give me :D

  • Russia has always done stuff cheaper. Price is the problem of NASA, not ability to explore space. So calm down.

  • @Spravvl

Russia has always done stuff cheaper because it had always paid peanuts to its scientists and engineers.. no wonder they flee abroad.

  • Look at this anti-semitic comment that everyone thumbs up ^ look at the commentators name LOL

  • Russia > US

  • @Stovokor41

you're typing this on US-based website, with your US-engineered computer using US-engineered Internet.

oh yeah, Russia is SOO much bigger than US, right..

  • @Korn1holio Youtube = built by someone in Taiwan and Germany ( wiki ) ,, Computer = British made,, Internet = well you've made one but that was for military use so....,,,, plus your using electric = Italian... Plus Russia is bigger than the US

  • @kirza94

Sorry sir, but you obviously don't know the term "outsourcing"... USA makes computers, Tawian only BUILDS them. technology is made on Intel plants by their engineers and scientists.

Taiwanese are only "hands" that assemble. Don't show your ignorance, please.

"you've made one but that was for military use"

so what? It was invented using US technology (Arpanet). Where's Russia?

Russia is bigger by territory, so what? Do you think that was the meaning of the OP ?

  • Comment removed

  • @kirza94

NanoTech is a buzzword, it does not have any REAL application. Believe me, I'm Russian (i don't know why you think Im American).

OK , computers are UK, so what? Russia is still not involved...

What I mean is RUssia > US is only valid for territory,.... in all other aspects RUssia < US, i.e. RUssia sucks. I'm only being realistic. Look at the Nobel winners. Almost NO russians.

  • @Korn1holio Well your big headed and rude and defending the US thats why i think you were an American. The reason no Russians are winners of the Nobels is Russia likes to keep quiet in the world not like the US

  • @kirza94

nope, it's because Russian science was opressed the whole XX century by communists... read about Lysenkovschina. Cybernetics was declared "false science" and many famous scientists were put into jail.

Then Russia began simply stealing technologies from the West. We copied our bomber from B17, we copied IBM computers...everything!

NanoTech had not produced ANYTHING of value. it's a BUZZWORD. Sorry for capsing things, but you must think that Nanotech does something. It is not.

  • @Korn1holio Sorry to complaining etc.. But NanoTech has done lots of stuff all European train station booths run by Eurotech same with airports, plus they make alot more , which i dont want to go into detail. And yes Russia takes ideas from the west such as Concorde (Tu-144). And Nobel prizes are not given to Russia just because of your history, its just about science etc.. nothing about the history of the country.

  • @kirza94

That's Eurotech, not Nanotech is it? Nanotech is just a corrupted government project.

I think history has nothing to do with NObel prizes. There weren't any inventions worthy of prizes. Name one. Alferov got one and the graphene guy, I think Landau and a couple others had received prizes rightfully. But few guys don't make science. Heart transplant for example was made in USSR 15 years after USA. USSR was losing the technological race, all the finest minds were at the West.

  • @Korn1holio i could of got it wrong but the company is defiantly Russian. I cba to talk to u now , you've got of topic

  • They're dropping the shuttle because they're making something better and newer. ;]

  • Hail Israel

  • Can you please shut up this "space entrepreneur," He is soooooo annoying. Yes, US is reliant on other nations on practically everything. That's not big news at all. The only thing US does well is print money and invade others.

  • The Russian space shuttle "Buran" had unmanned flight in 1988 and the program ended in 1993 , why do you think they did that , it's cost ineffective

  • No more super power for US the next super power is China or Russia!!!!

  • Good lord, do you really believe the Americans could not put a man into space with in 30 days if it were a "national" emergency or whatever?

Isn't that just a bit on the naive side? What about the falcon project in the private sector?

Anyway the last few weeks have exposed many other flaws in the world, NASA still has rovers crawling around on mars, done by the lowest bidder and government red tape.

Tell me more about the streets of Moscow and lets leave space neutral.

  • @jamesappleridge What do you wanna know about the streets of Moscow?

  • @jamesappleridge

"do you really believe the Americans could not put a man into space with in 30 days if it were a "national" emergency or whatever?"

I believe exactly that ! Once already overused shuttle is mothballed it will become unusable without previous huge overhull to put it again in flying condition

  • @TeslaGenius2 Do you think all trillions that have disappeared into the Pentagon was just greed? What good is having the wealth and nothing to protect it? Just like the technology in air flight is usually 2 to 3 decades behind what is revealed, I'm certain what is presented to the public as space transport is the same. As corrupt and defunct as the U.S. may appear on the surface, I also certain the military industrial complex is operating at peek efficiency and in prodigiously in space.

  • Why is anyone surprised that a govt program is inefficient? The so-called "Space Program" is no exception.

Now get out of the way of Dick Rutan and it won't be 5 years!

  • So, the USA will no longer be able to send astronauts to orbit as of June, 2011? No surprise there. The fat, greedy pigs who own and run the US have been outsourcing and off-shoring everything in sight for three decades. Pretty soon, the Chinese will have a reliable space launch system, too. We have lost half of our industry, the control of our southern border, the financial viability of our federal government, & 100 other traditional strengths. Maybe it's time to turn the pigs into bacon?

  • @bboucharde

    Agree

  • with you tight pants where everyone can see the p*ssy from the back

  • They still hit the ground in a capsule when they return to earth? Still seems like the stone age.......By the way, the idiot in the video doesn't know NASA had a "secret" UAV space plane in orbit for 7 months? It just returned to earth last month! NASA doesn't give a shit about mothballing the shuttle. They already have a replacement!

  • Comment removed

  • @TeslaGenius2 genius? you missed t he point of the comment! The space plane is experimental! If you weren't so full of yourself, you might be able to comprehend simple thought?

  • @TheDigitalWeb

If you knew how to read you would understand that it's not "genius" but TeslaGenius even though that wouldn't change much cause ignoramus like you have never probably heard about Tesla!

You are really stupid! What does it change if that UAV is experimental or not?!?

UAV's are not built (experimental or not) for flying astronauts in space you retarded imbecile!

UAV can NOT be "replacement" for shuttle you moron!

So much about your "simple thought" !

  • @TeslaGenius2 WOW! You Really ARE a Genius! Do you amaze yourself with your comments? You missed the point AGAIN! NASA HAS A REPLACEMENT SPACECRAFT JACKASS!

  • Comment removed

  • I think it is good that people from other nations help out, it is called The International Space Station, after all.

Maybe if they didn't spend all that money on firearms and war, then they would have more money to send people into space.

  • I wonder if they are going to have sex with that bitch.

  • @1337NoFear1337

    Hahahaha :)

  • Who said Americans cant go back to space, its easy, all they have to do is digg up Stanley Kubrick, give him a new camera, a dirt patch in the desert with some props and Voilà

  • Another JEW telling us how they are screwing America into the stone ages. Can we out source the parasite Jews to the space station? How about just letting them stand under the rocket and strike the match? If the people of the west ever wake up from slumber its all over for Hymmie and the Rothschilds!

  • @IsraelSpecialForces shut up u tool

  • Comment removed

  • @IsraelSpecialForces i dont give a rats ass if your irish u anti Semite tool. baseless generalizations are the sign of a fool

  • @eoghan93 You are 22 and don't know your own history. Ireland ( Hibernia root word Eber, father of the Hebrews) It is hard to be antisemite when you are a descendant of Shem. If anyone is speaking out of his ass it is you. There is no generalization when there is a clear agenda at hand.

  • @IsraelSpecialForces lol hibernia is the roman/Greek name for ireland and it was used in irelands case because it was cold . as for the rest of what u say its a load of bullocks so ure either insane or the best troll ive seen

  • @IsraelSpecialForces but you are jew too. no?

  • @AlexanderSigal I am not a Jew! The Jews never were nor will they ever be the Israel of scripture. They are impostors ( Synagogue of Satan Revelations 2:9 and 3:9.).

  • @IsraelSpecialForces but your name is israelSpecialForces. aren't Israeli Jews?

  • @AlexanderSigal No if you check the Jewish encyclopedia for the words jew, Esau, edom, it will say that it is improper to call a jew either an Israelite or a Hebrew, as the jew is neither. It is a great hoaxie bedtime story. They are not who they claim to be.

  • @IsraelSpecialForces so wtf? who are the people who live in Israel? they wear small hats and others big black hats. they are both jews. no?

  • so much emotions about some small rocket ;)

  • incapable? thats misleading.

  • Get used to it. US = Banana Republic

  • @MyTube22T The US is a Banana Republic, a nation that has been reduced to copper thieves stealing Air conditioners to scrap metal, Meth dealers, Wall Street Pirates. The whole country is one big criminal enterprise with every man for himself to make a buck whatever way he can. Woe is the person who takes my aluminum cans he will be dealth with severerly.

Does that answer all the clueless idiots of why the US space program is over?

  • @MyTube22T you mean 'The United Banana Shit of America Republics'?

  • NASA never sent a man on the moon

  • @WavesOfTrolls Our astronauts never did but the gullible, media controlled public (me included) had a fabulous time going to the moon.

  • rockets and capsules are yesterdays technology...Shuttles are too expensive to send into space..

Branson has broven that it does not take hundreds of millions of dollars to launch a small group into space and it does not have to fall down to earth in a capsule either...

  • The US has the X-37 and much more, they can come and go as they please..

  • poor americans...

  • can anyone tell me.. why the americans is unable to launch astronaut to the space? is it because of money?

  • @phoenixdar they would rather be persecuting reporters and toruring suspects than going to space! depressing collapse I'd say!

  • What are the wages of astronauts?.... I might be tempted!

  • End od an era. The US Space Dream is over. Sad but true.

  • hasn't the guy heard of Lockheed Martin or Boeing? or the USAF? or the military industrial complex.... shuttles are redundant....

  • @rdicko86 You don't understand. Wall Street killed space program. NASA had a budget of $20 billion. Several Trillion dollars have been shoved at Wall Street. The money went down Black Hole. The Space Shuttle is 1970's technology. The best anology would be comparing a 1970 Ford Pinto-NASA to China, INdia, Russia 2010 Lexus.

This is it. The Manned space program in the US is over.

  • say hello to our space friend, thanks
