  • Nice music btw. :)

  • made in kina yahh

  • Not real for decore it dosent have the blood scapes on the sides that how u can tell I have alot of bleach swords that don't have it and there fake suck for me to bro

  • it is a crappy sword too 25$, look on the one equal harmon! steel 440, you can kill the snail with it. hahaha

  • Not all swords made in china are stainless pieces of crap.

  • That is made in China. You should not underestimate the real Japanese sword.

  • In the unlikely event someone killed me with a poor quality fake katana I would be very offended and not because of being killed.

  • dear santa ...

  • poor quality.

  • it's not that sharp :(

  • Es una katana de adorno, de calidad muy mala, es mas, parece un juguete.

  • do you know what's the purpose of that gold thing in the grip?

  • this video makes me worry on how to choose best quality sword/

  • Japanese products = one of the world's best quality

    Chinese = &&(^5$%^& damn!

  • machine made katana

  • The most of the sword which you own are imitations made in China.

The sushi which you eat is sushi of the imitations which a Korean makes.

  • That's a fake.. Just look at the blade. The rivets on the sword are tooooooooooooooo clean. I have plenty of these fake swords . Yet I still need to own a legit one.

  • @ghettoasiandude2 yup, it's fake.

  • @ghettoasiandude2 the most best swords have thoes perfect ridgest

  • @Infamous4337 if you notice the sword isnt shiney there fore it is not fake

  • What is the point of having such a thing you'll never use ?

  • @Alkhoren decorations, hobbys, or consumerism?

  • Công Ty RYANS Việt Nam Bán Kiếm Nhật Các Loại. Chất Lượng Bền -Đẹp- Uy Tín...Hiện Nay Đã Có Tại Website:==> BanKiemNhat . COM

  • my friend has this same sword but red and its a $50-$60 sword and online you can buy this for around $22 or $25. note the diamond shaped hamon that means its fake and machine made and i doubt its sharp at all, anyone who says any different is either not very familiar with Katanas or got cheated out of money because they didnt do there homework.

  • if i had that i'd end up killing a cow lol

  • Is this made in China?

  • Beutiful katana and love the music where is the music from and where can i buy this sword

  • Please remove the words samurai and katana from the tag. It's absolute bull

  • Yeah thats very nice but can it cut through cans like the Ginshu knives?

Also if you ring now theyll give you a second set FREE!!!

  • chinese cheap quality imitation. Not worth to collect.

  • dude thats not the right way to store a katana. the cutting edge must always be faced upwards. and that isnt a hand crafted katana. the hamon is way too even.........

  • @4rcticfox It's not right or wrong, it's how the user wants to store it. Traditionally the blade is facing up, but that is tradition.

  • mechanical made hamon is blasphemy lmao....

  • I see a lot of people criticizing this katana, it's quite sad. While I am fairly clueless about the quality of swords, it is true that there are katana of far better quality than others, that doesn't mean to say that this katana is terrible, or a piece of shit, or anything of the sort. As it is now, yes, it's a piece of crap, because it's probably sitting on a wall collecting dust. However, it's still beautiful. I believe the quality and capabilities of the katana depend entirely on the user.

  • Love the edge, it's a beast!

  • the real ones are $5,000 or better.

  • @jasoncox1234

    they start at that...

    try $50,000

  • whats the title of the song u use in your video's ?

  • and the metal is? inox? lol

  • wow! Stunning

  • @ starfox87 _the hamon was put on with a sander; completely fake.

  • Im in love lol how can i be in love with a weapon lol lol

  • how does the hamon get such nice, even waves along the whole blade?

  • Wow, this thing is a peice of shit. That is a 25$ sword that someone bought at a flea market. You are so fucking poor that you can't afford to buy a real katana.

  • I cannot tell if this is genuine or not, but I do know that it is beautiful.

  • fake

  • That's a piece of shit with an etched hamon. It's garbage. Why are you wasting your time videotaping a fake movie sword and posting it on youtube?

  • @egopower I totally fucking agree that it is a peice of shit.

  • how much for one?

  • @joris680 youre defenetly right

  • One question… why do you buy all this fake shit??!!

Collect money for a real one!!

  • @joris680

Most Of Them.... Intrested To The 'Ori ' Sword,

Some...... Looks Pretty ... Ok..... Its Enough..

But 4 Me .... ".... More For Safety, Bring It Silently, Kill The Neighbour's Dog, Cut Some Idiot Throat,

And Funny But True..... Even FireArmed Gangster, Afraid To This..... Sword..... hehehehe, They Will Said.. " Wow , What The Hell With This Man.... He Keep That Katana In His House..., Better Dont Mess With Him."

    Sori Bad English.

  • not orginal samuraj catana

  • cool and unusual long this katana, this is normal for a katana?, nice music too

  • nice video, shite sword

  • Just back from Japan ... have also seen some beautiful swords ... all these have taken my breath away ... really. All I can say is respectfulness. Thanks for this extraordinary experience. Take a trip Japan and do yourself well. Thanks from Hungary.

  • 1:25 LOL definitely, not japanese made at all

  • the song is ATB - Obsession :)..

  • that homon shows that this sword is a cheap fake

  • looks like a cheap wall hanger to me.

I once heard a rule of thumb from my sensei, if a katana is made based on a movie, its usually crap.

  • beautiful but not ligit look at the homon its not normal at all

  • dude thats freaking beautiful the blade is just stunning

  • what is this song/beat?

  • Hamon on the blade is so evenly distributed that it only reminds me a knife in the kitchen. Check out any hand-crafted blade from Japan and see what it usually looks like.

  • beutiful

  • hey man, do you have a full tang Katana that's at least 1065 carbon steel? Because i'm thinking about trading my sword. if you're interested, my sword is a vintage, bought it in the 90's. And back then I bought it for $210.

  • Fake.

  • @KidFrom106 no its not

  • good blade ¡

  • It is a good katana replica, but it's a fake to all of those commentators that think this katana is real. From the first beginning I knew the tsuka was fake and the rayskin was as fake as all outdoors. The tsuba has a cheap look to it and when he opened it up it has fake written all in the hamon. The hamon is even and wide. A real blade's hamon is not even and pretty narrow. Although again, I must say it's good as a replica :)

  • i dont like that blue and gold color scheme its a nice sword though.

  • THAT A FANTASTIC SWORD. I have a two swords like that, it is by far my favorite katana, I just love the style of the tusba and saya. I don't surposse you sell your sword, if not could you please say where you got that one from?

p.s. I'm sorry to tell you that that one you have isn't orchid its "Masahiro Yanagi"

(orchid katana has flowers on the tusba and isn't as decorative) NOT INSULT, JUST SAYING IS ALL

  • How much is this?

  • Everything that comes from China is CRAP. They might copy the swords, but never would be able to make one that is even closer to the real ones. Even the steel involved in a Katana is the best of the best, Chinese only use recycled steel to make their swords. So is really CRAP.

  • CHOPPY CHOP CHOP, blurry blirriant chop chop, collecting doesn't make you a blurry irriot , velly nice 50 dolla chop chop from ebay, Wooo Chaa hahahahaha

  • I haz it, costs= 80 € but i got it for 20 €

  • what is this background music?

  • @SAMURAIXize you can get high carbon quality swords for under 200.00 if you know where to go.

  • @cjrush1009 - Is the carbon higher than 45%(1045) and if so can you share some info on where to get one. Thx

  • @jjwray4 chenessinc. com you can pick your steel there. Good prices.

  • FAKE.

    MADE IN CHINA OR KOREA.

  • FAKE.

    MADE IN CHINA OR KOREA.

  • 騙される人もかわいそうだ。。

    皆中国人と韓国人の偽物に騙されないでね。

  • i find it funny that everyone is insulting the sword about its cutting and blade stats when its a wall hanger lol

  • boom tick boom boom tick .. nice video nice katana and what song did you use good stuff

  • Plastic handle

  • bello il tappeto verde dietro!!

    dove l hai comprato?

  • looks to be some rip off imitation shit sword to me,

  • I love this! I actually want a sword like this.

  • cheap. there is no flow 2 the fake hamon n u can c the strip of fake ray skin hanging out of the end of the handle. i hate cheap swords...

  • i got 1 for 1,000,000 $ it was used by the strongest samurai ever

  • @amirmsi yeah and my name is Bruce Lee

  • 10 dollars auahhauhua

  • ahuauhahuahuahahuahuahuahuahuahuhuahauhauhuahuahuahuahuahuahuahuahahuahuahuahuahuahuahuahuhuahua

  • fuk thats my favorite colour!!! i want that katana!!

  • i just bought my sword for ike what? 90-100 dollars its effective pretty and cheap, what could be better?

  • beautiful sword i dont know why you guys are saying it is ugly it looks great you rock zebra

  • damn..do people actually pay more than $1000 for a sword?

  • some get sold for 20,000+

    and some even more expensive

  • for normal ones

  • yes good handmaked swords from japan cost more than 20000$

  • The only thing a want say with that is, If you want a sword you can cut with and use for training there are many manufractures in china which made good quality mass production blades (the more expensive ones are fully hand made).

Thouse blades are worlds batter than these aweful decoration crap, they are mirror high-end polished and some have real hamon. But yes real japanese nihonto are the best: but well for 300-3000 dollars, the chinese ones are really cheap and good for that price

  • Ok, now this is worse... what does this shit costs? I wouldn't even use this for a wall hanger.

If you want a cheap "Katana" who looks a bit autentical and you can cut with than buy a sub 100$ masahiro, but even they are crap.

If you want a "Katana" than I wouln'dt buy anything under 300$ Musashi, Hanwei, Cheness, Dynasty Forge are good brands to name a couple, but I wouldn't even spent 10§ for that one :O

  • Yes, I know, what I'm talking about idiot... Not everybody can spend 10.000$ and more dollar for an autentic nihonto, but that didn't mean, that you can't get a "nice" performance sword (made in china) not for under 1000$ dollar. I own a Hanwei and a Musashi, the second one costs 600 dollars and it's honsanmai 4000 layers construction and razor sharp. Yes the original from tamahagana made by japanese masters are worlds better, but not everything under 1000$ is crap.

  • @Sentoumaru i understand you. The point of folding the steel whilst making the sword, was to evenly distribute the carbon content, which gives steel it's hardness. Compare the brittleness of cast iron and the strength of steel. With modern steel production, the carbon level is clearly marked, 1045, 1095, 1566, 5160 and therefore, to produce a good quality is much simpler. Clay tempering, to differentially harden the cutting edge, and provide shock absorbtion on the back is all that remains to do

  • @Sentoumaru

My sword Made By My Poor Uncle.... Just RM100, I Download How To Made Katana Vids/Clips From Here

Burn Into dvd... Then Present To Him.... (Happy Like Being In Heaven).B'coz, He Dreamed To Learn It, But No Nothing About Computer,

4 me... Original Swords , Its Really Far Away From My Wallet, But If I Had One, Even Faked , Enuff To Show That I also Amazed To The Samurai Sword Design & Spirit, Born To Serve Their King , Choice To Had Nothing & Dare To Die..

  • @Sentoumaru I'm buying something for 250$ and this blade has been prooven to last at least 2 years.

with my way of using it, it will probably last very long.

  • yuck!

  • replica de ferro industrial!!!

  • thats a knock off there should never be any thing carved into the blade EVER it's disgraceful to call that a katana

  • actuly it depends who made and what kinda katana it is japanese worriers did it all the time either to honor there country too a saying of faith and religon it was very common, but your right most of the time it is a disgrace to the sword

  • what is it with these youtube sword videos,THE BLADE EDGE SHOULD BE UP.NOT FACING GROUND.

  • Lame replica...oh and sword collecting does not make you cool

  • Sword collecting doesn't make you lame either.

  • My sword came with an oil/grease like thing on it. What is it and where can I buy it?

  • This is normal to protect it for the Transport, you should remove the oil so far, that there are no drips on the blade, just a sheen of oil. Or remove completely and add fresh oil. Search with google for detailed tutorials, because I guess you blade is not stainless steel (thats good) and you should properly maintain it.

  • this would shatter if you tried to cut a phonebook...go out and buy a battle ready katana, not a display piece

  • true art ! beautiful !!

  • Beautiful. Im trying to buy one in the same colour.

  • They have some good ones on amazon go buy one

  • now i don't know much about swords, but i'll be damned if that hilt dosn't look like plastic

  • its ray skin, a material that looks very much like plastic, but that isnt a regular katana, based on the length it is a dai-katana, very rare, very powerful in the hands of a master

  • this sword is horrible and fake no holes for bamboo pegs a fake saya fake hamon rat tail tang

  • english please~ :D

  • I must agree.

  • it probibaly is, if you look close there are no holes for the bamboo pegs to go through, and its so dull you can see the light reflecting from the edge

  • in britain you can own them if they are hand made (silly law)

  • real swords are illegal i dought this is real probaly metal real yea but not as sharp

  • That depends on what part of the world you live in as to if it is illegal to own swords. This one here however is not real it is a fake and is as far from the real thing as you can get. I own and collect Katana and have a nice collection and not one is made from 440J stainless steel as this one here appears to be. This is an SLO or sword like object.

    Peace.

  • you maye may be part true you can own them but you cant bee seen with them by the cops will arrest you and i was talking about the us

  • I know a number of collectors in the US and they do not have a problem. I believe the law changes from state to state. also if you walk down the road with one yeah well you will have problems.

An Idea if you want to get one is to go to Sword Buyers Guide on the web as the guys there will help you out if you want to start collecting.

    Peace man

  • yup

  • i have one of those but i need another case for is because mine is all scratched up becuse it has been in my closet

  • im talking to you longshanks sid you son of a bitch

  • emari, this sword is about as fake as a boob job. it looks real, but it's not. a real sword is made out of high carbon steel or tamahagane, is clay tempered and differentially hardened, is full tang and has a sharp edge. this sword is about as far as you can get from real.

to put it in better terms, this sword is a "sword-like object".

  • lol that thing is very fake. Love the ground on hamon. anyway I have to agree that this is an SLO not real... I own a number of the real thing and after a time you can tell by just looking if they are real or not.

  • Agreed, hamon gave it away immediately as well as the cheap looking fittings. I have a Paul Chen Orchid which is really nice, nice hamon, cost me £800, I think this thing is about £50 max.

  • The Paul Chen Orchid is a nice sword and yes I expect you are right on the price of this one. Even the Kill Bill Katanas look much more authentic :-)

  • and you know thats a real sword because when he turns the blade theirs no lite on the sharp edge of the sword you dumb ass.

  • its not fake

  • the hamon dosent have to look like what your talking about longshanks sid you littel fuck. smart ass like you know what a real sword looks like and what it dosent look like that sword is real if it was not it would ratel .

  • its not fake

  • its so fake

  • its not fake

  • its not fake

  • its not fake

  • would you shut the fuck up the hamon has nothing to do with it you dumb piece of shit

  • It is a fake ornamental sword.

A real sword needs to have:

    1) weight of 2lbs or more

    2) Forged of carbon steel

    3) Full tang (held together by menuki)

This sword here isnt ment for swinging or anything other than just sitting there in the corner to gather dust.

  • Also why didn't you show the paperwork that should of came with the sword, if its so genuine, it should show how long it took to make and everything. A genuine sword should take from one month to three months to make

  • I think its fake as well, and I will explain. For a start the Hamon is to perfect. Normally this gives the blade it uniqueness it cant be perfect. Also I dont think its made out of the right steal and iron. There is only one place where you can get real Tamahagone steal, and that folks is a secret. Also the Yihaga is folded over five thousand time and give the blade a very fine wavy look all down the blade, and a very hard skin. So if you think that is real and you paid thousands for it.

  • and look at you don't even no how to spell katana you said catana lol but your ''catana can cut his katana in have you fucken bitch

  • fuck all of you that say that sword is fake you fuckin idiots how the hell would you you no if that sword is fake i mean realy how could you most fake swords are held by a very small piece of threaded steel and would shake in its socket so when before you dumb fucks say that sword is fake make sure you know its fake if that were my sword i would show you how sharp it is by first murdering and then with my so called not sharp sword to chop them up to confetti and dump them in the river.

  • bitch

  • that is FUCKING amazing

  • so fake well um technically its a real sword but not the good ones

  • You have fakes and terrible fakes (this one).

  • an obvious toy

  • "Excellent collector's piece." ??

More "Piece of Crap", look at the hamon, it's a cheap replica

  • that sword can teven cut through paper

  • at first glance, it looked fake,

but when i look closer... well you can see...

    um...

    nah, still fake :p

but!, the sheeth is beautifull and so are the decorations

or how do you traslate sheeth, the thing you put your sword in...

  • The Sheath is called, "Saya" in Japanese.

But yes, I knew imediately from the even hammon line (the wavy pattern on the edge) that it was machine manufactured.

  • toy.....hahaha...

  • fake

  • this is a toy.

  • That is a total replica sword. It is colorful, but I not would not pay anymore then $20 for it....I would not even buy that. I paid $360 for mine. Mine isent the best but at lest mine is real. (not clay forged)

  • functional?

  • Hard to tell from the video... Could be stainless. Most likely ornamental.

  • No, its ornamental. I have a katana with a blade that looks just like that, its half as thick as it should be, and made of 440 stainless. The way its wrap is made, and the saya are also a give-away.

  • yeah, definitely not functional
