Tevez' goal against Mexico aswell, fails to pass at first, but manages to surprise everyone when it falls back to him. Fabio Quagliarella's goal vs. Slovakia was brilliant, excellent vision and placement. Maicon's shot against North Korea was desperate, but it went in beautifully. Honda's free kick against Denmark showed exactly why they are so feared.

@matsyboy876 Gio's goal is just another distance shot, all he did was get good contact on the ball. There's no team play involved and he wasn't even challenged, so it's not that amazing. He just thumped it towards goal, really.

Have another look at Tshabalala's goal, for example. Same foot, goes in the top corner aswell. Difference is that it's actually a team effort and he hits a bouncing ball at full sprint from a tighter angle. I'd say it's a better finish all around.
