I am not interested in the colour of a singer, only in his music.

Little Richard stole the style of Esquerita who was the originator of that type of music. If you are unknown with that .You can hear Richard Penniman admit that this was the case on a cd on Bear Famaily records In the time Penniman was singin' gospel Eskew Reeder was busy with his famous Rockstyle.

Besides that one does not need a hitrecord to become immortal! So many wellknown stars with hits are completely forgotten.

Cant remeber how many times i listened to this as a 7-8 yr old. On my dads Dansette. If i recall it was the B Side to Pistol packin Mama. I grew up listening to Gene Eddie Cochran and Fats Domino. Dont get any better than that.
