In AC 3 for ex. you cant move very fast or dodge that much so you get hit lots. In AC4, if i dont want to get hit, i dont have to. My problem is, i love plasma guns and rockets so cant use a light AC. Gota reform my style. But yea guys this game kicks. Im buying it.

that text box on the side of the screen durring gameplay was taken out in the U.S. release..... kinda gay... i need something like that to see how much dmg i take from each weapon....
seems like that ol' bunny hop is useless in this fast paced ac4. everything seems quicker; ACs, missles...
and you can now fire back cannons while moving without restrictions. the ol' FCS lock box is also gone and oh sweet - you can now fire a shitload of missiles without lagging.
LR was a bitch to beat. But AC2 kicked ass... and so does AC4... although I think Agetech should have stayed with it, Sega will probably end up killing it because of their roots with Sonic...

Not that I'm happy about the price of the PS3, or even planning on getting one before a BIG price drop, but the fact that you need to pay monthly for online service for the XB360 comes out to a fairly higher price when you consider the extra $200 over 4 years you'll be paying.

yes, it requires you to complete a specific mission on the hard difficulty setting (dont remember wich). The angelwing looking cannons are great but I hope you got a good energy generator... lol.

fuck agetec, they never gave the armored core series the attention it deserved. they always used sub par acting and basically treated AC as a one of their budget titles. I love how Sega has handled FROM Software's titles as of late, they are doing an awesome job of actually marketing the series correctly and even bothering to use decent voice actors and several other things that I could go on and on about if it weren't for the text limit on youtube.
and they passed on AC4 because of how much AC4 would have cost. Sega's US president is also Agetec's president, so there isnt anything to worry about.
I just hope this game is funner than the the ones on the ps2. I enjoy the ac series, its just that I find the gameplay extremely lacking. That doesn't look like the case here (according to the trailer at least)

One big thing I noticed is these guys dont seem to be running out of energy when in OB (striding in OB, wow). Hopefully parts can be blown off (arms, legs, ect.)!

Failing system? Are you stupid? They made $23 Million AUS dollars on PS3 sales in 2 days in Australia... they are definitely not failing. A lot of people don't buy systems because of the price, some just buy because they are a fan of the system. Nintendo Wii, though extremely horrible compared to both PS3 and Xbox 360, is still selling extremely well. Nintendo are the biggest selling company out of the three. You know why? Because they have always had a huge fanbase.
Since you acknowledge that XBOX 360 and Wii are outselling PS3 you pretty much contradict yourself so I'll leave it at that. Also, Wii is doing well because they market it to everyone outside of Nintendo's fanbase and have been making a continuous effort to market it to non gamers as a system that is easy to pick up and play. Even Sony has called the Wii an "impulse buy" that people buy because they think its something thats easy to use for non gamers.
I never achknowledged Xbox is outselling PS3 at all. Yes I agree that the Wii is an impulse buy, but what you don't understand is, Wii is what a proper video game system is and should be all about, a system that is built for everyone to play, a system that you can just get out, put a game in, and all have some fun. That is what a console is about, not online features or memory capacity. If you want that, go get a computer, they do it far better then anything.
You also are comparing a system that has had how many more months to get ahead in sales? In the long run, PS3 will overtake the 360, just you wait. Another thing, Nintendo aren't aiming for anyone, unlike Xbox and Playstation, they create what is known to be called, a CONSOLE. Like they always do, they are changing their system. I can assure you Nintendo just aim for everyone in general, every single time.

Reverse joint legs.
Left weapon: Minichainguns- Used to engage small targets. Heli's incoming missiles.
Right weapon: Grenade cannon
Left shoulder: mounted Grenade Cannon (Use both at same time)
Right shoulder: Multi missiles firing with shoulder mounted missile/ interceptors.
No need for ocuntermeasures if you can dodge, save the space for more ammo.

it has an arena mode like a more realistic verson of virtua on and i'm happy to hear you have $600 to waste on a failing system. i'd buy ps3 too but i'm not rich. most of the games are coming to xbox 360 now anyway.

Failing system? Are you stupid? They made $23 Million AUS dollars on PS3 sales in 2 days in Australia... they are definitely not failing. A lot of people don't buy systems because of the price, some just buy because they are a fan of the system. Nintendo Wii, though extremely horrible compared to both PS3 and Xbox 360, is still selling extremely well. Nintendo are the biggest selling company out of the three. You know why? Because they have always had a huge fanbase.

Since you acknowledge that XBOX 360 and Wii are outselling PS3 you pretty much contradict yourself so I'll leave it at that. Also, Wii is doing well because they market it to everyone outside of Nintendo's fanbase and have been making a continuous effort to market it to non gamers as a system that is easy to pick up and play. Even Sony has called the Wii an "impulse buy" that people buy because they think its something thats easy to use for non gamers.

I never achknowledged Xbox is outselling PS3 at all. Yes I agree that the Wii is an impulse buy, but what you don't understand is, Wii is what a proper video game system is and should be all about, a system that is built for everyone to play, a system that you can just get out, put a game in, and all have some fun. That is what a console is about, not online features or memory capacity. If you want that, go get a computer, they do it far better then anything.

XBOX 360 and PS3 on the other hand are marketed as video game systems as usual and 360 being the cheaper of the two, has outsold PS3.

You also are comparing a system that has had how many more months to get ahead in sales? In the long run, PS3 will overtake the 360, just you wait. Another thing, Nintendo aren't aiming for anyone, unlike Xbox and Playstation, they create what is known to be called, a CONSOLE. Like they always do, they are changing their system. I can assure you Nintendo just aim for everyone in general, every single time.

Whyare you contradicting yourself? First you say Nintendo doesn't aim for anyone then you say Nintendo aims for everyone.. which one is it? I don't think the PS3 will overtake the 360 simply because mot of its good games are buying bought off by microsoft and are being ported, theres no reason to get a system that costs $300. It can run all of the games so far as good as the PS3, no company has even used over the 360's limits yet graphic wise so theres no point in getting a PS3.

Notice that the weapons have been remodeled to appear physically proportionate as to their ammo capacity figures. I appreciate the new realism but it's still way past fucking time.
