Atwood is a great novelist and quite articulate. It's a pity the interviewer was so bad. He should stick to medicine. He couldn't get a question out. Quite a disappointment.

her comment on non-romantics tending to not tell stories, only write reports = top notch. the audience figured out pretty quickly that that was a shot to this interviewer. ;)

at times I think the nice interviewer does not understand that the his job is to set up the interviewee to speak and be the star, not try to outshine or out-funny them. I have only seen the first 3 mins so far so that might be a premature judgement. Love Margaret Atwood. She is amazing.

Why is this video no longer available? It was a valuable insight to Oryx and Crake and I only managed to watch half of it! Its not fair. It should have been kept on, I really want to see the rest of it.

I love this book. It's so insightful and made me look at the world in a different way... I'm hoping for a career in genetics so it enabled me see the flip side of human customization and visualize the potential ethical and social problems that could arise from it.
Atwood is a very intelligent woman... I wish she was more famous world-wide so her messages could be widespread.
