If you could see it upclose with your own eyes you would see that the color changing effect as seen thru your camera is due to the swirling liquid-like mother of pearl outer surface of the circular illuminated object you've caught on tape.

This looks very like one of those Flying Lanterns which people use to celebrate weddings in Ireland. Allot of people are using these Lanterns at their weddings now. When they are released into the air (especially at night) they are mistaken for a UFO. However i do beleive that we are not alone in our universe and when you hear about all of the UFO sightings around the world down through the years you have to admit that there is somthing going on.

Occasionally I got a glimpse of an orange structure, which then disappeared leaving only the lights. At one stage a fast moving (terrestrial) aircraft with only a single red light flew under.

It remained in the sky as the sun was coming up and in the West (i.e. not Venus, a satellite or a star). At first IO thought it was a helicopter with lasers on it, but who would be bothered. Glad to see that it has been spotted by others.

if this is real then it is the same thing that I saw on Saturday night, but I had no camera - I observed it on Good Friday when camping in the Mourne Mountains. Three of us watched it for 3 hours through binoculars, and it did the same weird focus - blur thing.

Through the binoculars I could see it was a white light with green, red and blue lights around it.

this is exactly the same thing i saw in 1998 when i was cycling home from work one evening , the object seemed to be stationary and over the irish sea,when i looked through binoculars it seemed to be made up of differt cirles which were pulsating and vibrating,this is exactly what it looked like,it lasted around two hours, and just vanished.
