Naming a sculpture is hard. We often live with one for a long time before a name sticks. Marji suggested the name "Falling Water" as we were hiking to a lake. We both looked at each other and knew it was right.
@MarkoMaddy ....Well your half right. The true name of this art work should be called "potential" art sculpture. But that name would imply that it's "not quite art yet." It's called Kenetic because you must "wind up" the art work, where in you are the one putting the kenetic energy into the art. Reguardless, i'm a wood worker by craft and these are amazing to think of all the time that went into them, beautiful in every way.
@AngelBiLove mhmmm... Hope you realize i was answering to a discussion on the categorisation and naming of 'kinetic art'. If you bothered to reply to my comment you should of looked into it and its source... and to also look for the fact that I am British... I know Americans aren't all idiots either so stop your prejudice.
"Cause those people dont know that kind of elimentary OBVIOUS knowledge." mm... yes... grammatically sound.
I could stare at it all day.

@davcroy Probably should have picked a name that wasn't already associated with the Frank Lloyd Wright building.
