It's a Gretsch White Falcon II model 7594, hollow body electric. I bought this guitar in 1992, the pickups are Filtertron humbuckers,it are the same as he was put in the factory, but the luthier he made a adjustment and I can choose humbucker or single coil.
stupid question but serious...Are you just picking the bottom two strings the whole time? In key? ya don't miss a beat....great job. Yep the FALCON...THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GUITAR ON EARTH.....
I don't know if I understand correctly your question, my English is really bad and you my apologies. I play with fingers and pick at the same time but I have problems with my nails, often break in my work. I hope I have explained either by overcoming the language barrier. I would be like St. Vicent Ferrer, who was understood in valencian speaking with everyone ..
Your English is good...YOU ARE PLAYING with pick and fingers....the Pick is on the ''2 base strings'' and fingers on the others. I get it...thanks and GREAT JOB. love that falcon...
Yeah it's an old wive's tale that long nails actually help when playing guitar I keep mine short, VERY SHORT. Just long enough that they don't get sore but short enough that I can go atleast a week or so without having to cut em again.
id love to hear who started that one...ever since ive been playin EVERYBODY said keep em short unless you plan on being a classical finger picker or feel like snortin the devil's dandruff!
Yeah, I had a roommate who never cut his fingernails (he was lazy). He couldn't play any chords whatsoever. He was the worst guitar player in the history of Oregon.
He's been playing for five years now, and I don't think he can do any "standard" things, i.e. any scale forms/degree, or any extended chords. Sad, really.
Having said that, yes, I cut my fingernails. If I don't, I'll end up like him!
i love the white falcon im thinkin of gettin 1 soon but i dont like the double cutaway only the single and i like the falcon inlays most beautiful guitar
wow! good job and wonderful guitar!
