@GavinBiedryzcki, we offered George at MPC our services to custom paint the 2011 DMX build at no cost! I hope he takes us up on the offer! we'll do something REALLY cool for them :) Episode #3 is on Tuesday!
Sweet show! And I just got rid of an old FuGly mouse.......NOooooooo, I could have used you're tips and made it look cool. Looking forward to episode 3!

Thanks everyone. This is part fun and part experimentation. Would definitely consider something with a network. Keep in mind, at 15 minutes (with no commercials), MOD MEN is not much shorter than a full 30 minute TV show, which is 21-22 minutes of content when you exclude commercials.
I absolutely can't wait for next weeks show again MNPCTech guys Great Job! Are you guys getting any offers to to a full 30 to hour show from the networks if not you should be!!! Simply Awesome stuff.....
for some reason where i live Home depot and lows does not carry that brand of mount tape i saw on your sight it only hold up to 2lbs. pressure. I found another
scotch heavy mount tape that holds upto 5lbs. # 4011T can i still use this type of mount tape? to hold up my acrylic .080" thick 8x10 . what suck is that i need to cut it to 7X8.5 but i only have a rotary saw and two hands with nothing to keep it stable with out messing up the cut.

Googled me some Tape of the Gawds, found some quite cheap in Hong Kong. So , the big questions will be: is it the real thing or a chinese rip-off ? ....now all there is left to do for me is to find a Dell case to stick to my windows...... :)
Most of the masking tape you buy around here these days sucks, no adhesive cutting costs seemingly made the tape not stick to anything. Can you recommend some brands of masking tape? Also, where did you get that acrylic? 2inches thick! o_O that had to cost quite a little bit.
@iceveiled, the pressure is on! You've gotta take all 5 in, like a 5 course meal! if there isn't something you like in Ep#3, then you'll find something in 4 or 5 :) ...It's hard trying to please everyone....hehe
HAHA Great show it Just gets better and better. Sick mouse mod! Can't wait to see the rest of custom case, and last but not least that Zotac mobo is outragious!
Great show. Although I'm pretty sure that Zotac motherboard doesn't have 12 USB headers. You were pointing at the SATA connectors. It looks like 6 SATA headers, 6 USB 2.0 ports, and 2 USB 3.0 ports.
Damn i wish i had my own CNC Milling Machine . Build is coming along well Bill ,Randy and Cheap skate. Nice to see the Wolfenstein Case in use....( Put a Wireless card in the Dell Xtra Large side window MOD and connect it up) . Great work gang keep up your Epic efforts. Checkout my 3D case build. cant wait for next Webisode/Episode.
Thanks so much for posting this series! It's A+ content and gives an upclose view of awesome modding! I wonder how many takes it took for the Dell to go in the dumpster :)
love the new series of shows keep it up ............. i want the case i love it.......also love the carbon fiber mod on the mouse i will be doing that to my keyboard and mouse....
Great episode Bill love the production work you have put into it ... Nice to see how things are grogressing with the custom build ... Looking forward to the next episode to ... great stuff
I liked episode 1 better. mainly because there weren't any monkey interruptions that was annoying. it wouldnt be so annoying if they didnt have him in the small frame with the spinny gears and the monkeys on the bottom just film it normally please
Wasn't convinced by the scratch build when all we could see was the CAD drawings in the first episode, but this vid really brings it to life as a much classier construction than you might have thought. The carbon fibre paint effect for mice is also a great little tip that now has me looking around for old mice to try it on.
Felt much slicker than Episode 1, looking forward to next weeks'.
Another great episode, really tempted to try the carbon effect on an old mouse. Also thanks for covering Mini-ITX, I just built my first PC and used M-ITX, love a pretty powerful machine in a small box.
I just love the "Tips" of any DIY show, since most of the time that is the most useful part of the show LoL.....I also appreciate how you actually go step by step with out skimping on the details.... keep it up...
You know what would be cool? If you would take some of the 2" plexy and mill it out for the coolant reservoir. It could be used as part of the frame. Then you wouldn't have to create/mount another one. Also, you could color the fluid that florescent green.
@hlsghost Yes, but I'm interested in the future to expand to something similar to their business, but I have no idea of the investment required for that, It would be very helpul if someone can advice me.
