  • Dude that was awesome! Thanks for the vid.

  • Great shooting. What wa sthe diameter of your target gong?

  • In your opinion, what's the most accurate barrel for around or less than $200?

  • how much did the scope set you back??

  • @sharpshooter1022 I got this one brand new for a killer deal $159 (from a local guy/friend), but that was $40 better then I could find it anywhere else...It's usually around $200 and I think it's worth that.

  • @DocTacDad thats very impressive shooting man. makes me want to trade in my henery golden boy 22 mag for a ruger 1022.

  • Btw its a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 Bdc reticle

  • Great vid :)

  • what kinda scope is that, that is ALL I want to know.

  • DUDE I get the elevation, but how in the world are you compensating for windage man? AMAZING, I don't care what anyone says..... I could do it, but you would have to coach me for about 10 minutes....

  • Redo the video with some tracer rounds :). I've only done 300 yards with my 10/22 and my remington 597. with a tracer round you can really see the drop.

  • too bad the 10/22 wont shot shorts or longs wit reliably...thats why i will get a bolt action .22

  • Absolutely awesome shooting! I would love to get to a place and try my hand at something like this with my customized 10/22. I have shot this wonderful combination at 110 yards with sub MOA accuracy, so it would be fun to try further. Have a Tactical Solutions barrel and a Volquartsen 2000 trigger group. The bolt was also accurized, so I think it would do well.

  • Great Video my friend. I just bought my first 22LR recently, is a SW MP 15-22 with an Eotech and I can use my magnifier on it to extend the range. I ll be happy if I can hit 100 yards dead center, after seen you doing 400 yards is awesome. My rifle is configure to be a AR 15 training substitute so is awesome. Again good job ! great video.

  • Oh come on man! This is just showing off lol. Seriously that is very cool to be hitting at that distance with a .22. Maybe you said and I didn't catch it but why not Stingers? Are the Velocitors more accurate. I think the Stingers have more muzzle velocity.

  • @SnowLobo95 The Stinger has better muzzle velocity, but a lower ballistic coefficient, so it's going to bleed off energy faster and not hit as hard out to distance. The Velocitor has 20% more mass then the stinger and carries longer which make it ideal for the long range stuff.

  • @DocTacDad the Stingers actually lose their velocity at 100 yards more than these bro.Faster at the muzzle, but they loose it after 100

  • @SnowLobo95 Aguila has more than the Stinger 1750 fps.

  • Nice shooting! I'll have to try some velocitors out.

  • The barrel and stock for my 10/22 is supposed to be here tomorrow. With a little luck I'll be shooting this weekend.

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision I shot it again at this range yesterday...it was a clearer day and you could see the hits much better...I'll probably put that vid up later today.

  • Brother at 400 yards, WOW nice. Those are impressive....

  • Great shooting.

  • Very nice, so can you do that with a stock 10/22? Cause I'm thinking if getting one.

  • @ironmonkeyz Ummm...I've grouped my stock 10/22 next the 10/22VLE and grouped 1.5-20" at 50 yards vs 0.5-1" groups with the VLE...@ 400 yards I'm shooting about a 12-15" group with the VLE...the stock would be much larger, so it would probably be a lesson in patients to actually try at that distance. The stock 10/22 is usable at 150 yards and less IMO.

  • 3 feat = 1 meter , this is not exect butt its close ! and eazy to remember

  • What a great day shooting at the range. I loved going back to the 600 yard line when I was in the Marines. When you hit the target at that distance, your shooting confidence increases greatly. You were very methodical in your adjustments. Great job buddy!

  • @mizooch70 Thanks for watching my friend!

  • at that range about how much energy does the .22 still have?

  • @subysubyThe velocitor holds about 50 ft/lbs of energy @ 400 yards.

  • Well done!

Wow look at the mirage wavering in the zoomed in views of the gong.

  • @SrJoben Mirage was bad that day...thanks for watching!

  • Very nice my friend ! Man we need to shoot if you ever get up to Idaho again ... Do you shoot IDPA ?

  • @chavezchavez556 You are on my to do list for my next North Idaho trip...I don't shoot IDPA, because the nearest one to me is 1.5 hours away. I plan on running one next spring though.

  • @DocTacDad If you are ever in N.Idaho on the first or second week of the month you can shoot our local match . Are you going to SO the match's or completely run them ?

  • @chavezchavez556 Not sure

  • Wonderful! Nice to see the math in place and accurate! Where did you get the scope at?

    by the way:

CCI velocitor 22LR = 437.38800 meters per second

  • @99lunalupis I bought the new scope locally, and I can't remember where I bought the original one (somewhere online). Thanks for the m/s calculation!

  • great vid sir. love that 10/22.

  • now that was some impressive shooting!!!!!!! and here i was happy about shooting and hitting 400 with 223. back to the drawing board

  • @DUKnCVR2010 You should always push yourself to get better...Thanks for watching!

  • @DocTacDad i need a bigger bolt gun of my own and then ill do just that.

  • Amazing! You've really got that technical stuff down. Man, I could learn a thing or three.

  • @TheLateBoyScout It's really actually easy once you get the basic concepts down. We will have to do a long range shoot in the future.

  • Very nice :)

  • .22 are fun

  • Now that's what I call a lot of fun. Great shooting :)

  • it actually is impressive to even hit once at 400 yards with a 22
