This song is very true when my mom was diagnosed with cancer i went fishing all the time and that was the only thing that calmed me down and made me relax

Me and my family used to go down to this river where we'd fish and try to forget the hardships of life. It didnt have a name, we just called it the old river. It'd feel like all our troubles flowed away with the rivers current. I have more important things in my life to do now thats more enjoyable to me than fishing, but ill never forget the nights cat fishin in the cabin boat on the old river.

You cannot understand how important this sort of activity is to healing both physically and emotionally. This song was written for Project Healing Waters Inc. dedicated to helping wounded soldiers recover from injuries through fly fishing and fly tying. Google them and you will see. I hope I do not sound rude here, I just think the link between the song and the organization needs to be kknown here....

@crrllchevyboy this song was wriyyen for Project Healing Waters Inc. and the sSoldiers they bring into their fly fishing program. They are dedicated to helping wounded Soldiers in their healing by introducing them to fly fishing and tying. There should be a note with this song, this is what it was for. Google the organization, they are making a great difference out there serving those who serve us.
