It seems that he only turned right off the path because that was where the accident was taking him. It is one of my favourite videos. I have taught 4 five and six years olds to ride and it's as good for me as it was for them.

Awesome. Get em started young... One suggestion, just a tip, get his helmet adjusted properly so if he goes down face first it doesn't just slide back on his head. It's easy to do, just adjust the font straps so they're snug almost straight down. You should be able to grad the helmet while it's strapped on and jiggle it with minimal slippage in any direction... Props on Band of Horses song selection btw
