Hey man, is this hairstyle grown even more from the video "Short Faux Hawk grown" Or did you have to get it cut a different style? Im thinking of printing off a few pictures of the short faux hawk grown and showing to my barber and getting it cut similiar. lets just say my hair isnt thinned and layered would i still be able to do this and i have very thick and straight hair.... but most importantly ive noticed that when ive gotten my hair thinned and/ or layered it didnt have much of an effect but my stylist told me if i grow my hair like really long then get it thinned and layered but cut short it have a very noticable effect like the whole texture of my hair will change should i do that i really like this style a lot..... please respond.

If your faux hawk doesnt come out as well because u've got slightly curly/wavy hair then i suggest using a FLAT IRON AFTER putting on some wax.. then put on some more wax to shape ur hair.. Works for me..
