  • when the story started i was thinking wow hes lucky he didnt lose a hand... by the time it gets to the end and you find he wants to kill it... sorta wishing he lost both hands trying to catch it.

  • Stew? Really. What a piece of shit.

Stick with ur fried chicken & pigs ass. Leave a 100 year old turtle alone.

I hope that thg took ur f*n hand clean off. Karma's a bit*ch

  • can i have some of that stew lol.

  • Gonna put him in a steww... mmm hmmmm LOL

  • what a dick i would throw the turtle back in...what if that turtle caught him and cooked him he wouldnt like that very much

  • He threw it back...he remembered he had pig balls in the fridge. lol

  • stupid nigger. Poor turtle.

  • @0091paddy That's not racist at all.

  • why can't we human just leave other animals the fcuk alone??

  • drag that niggar by his ass then throw him in a pot with stew

  • Well, anyway, the comments are interesting.

God, I sure hope he gave the poor thing to the zoo. He obviously knows nothing about snapping turtles. You don't go grabbing and pulling it by the tail, for one thing. I feel for that poor turtle.

  • that nigga is shit...

  • How about your assholes go complain about something else Like all the Cat Videos on YouTube. Goddamn hypocrites Once something gets publicity you jump on the band-wagon but when it comes to real-life-day-to-day things there's plenty of things to be doing; rather than trying to impress you tubers with your so called "Humanity"

  • I'd like to see how fast one of these suck-ass, animal worshipping, loons would want to sue if that thing bit off THEIR hand.

Good job Nathan. Good to see someone who values children over reptiles.

    Your parents raised you right.

  • @imallpissedoff Sad comment... just sad

  • @SolumAmantis

What's even more sad is that you think my comment is sad.

This IS a dangerous animal. If people swim in that pond or, if children play near it, it must be removed.

Hey, I got an idea, hows bouts we release a couple rattle snakes in your house and move you out?

  • @imallpissedoff All your comments are sad...You will realize it one day...And that day is getting closer and closer every day!And there will be no gods to forgive u!

  • @Agremen

Nope, wrong again. If there is no God (which is impossible unless you believe the universe can be its' own cause) then nothing matters anyway, especially your nature worshipping foolishness. If I'm right and God exists(as all the evidence points to as being the case) then you will will not be forgiven and there will be no snapping turtles to save you.

Keep livin' the dream, nature boy.

  • @imallpissedoff Wow stfu dude go try to brain wash someone else with ur bs and u know nothing about me you should watch ur mouth!

  • @Agremen

I couldn't brainwash you. You'd have to have a brain to be washed, first.

And, I know a lot about Earth worshipping, atheist, loons like you. You're all alike.

Go stroke a tree for Gaia.

Or, better yet, maybe that snapping turtle could blow you. XD XD XD

  • @imallpissedoff You shall not judge! Isn't that in your crappy bible...Then use it if you are such an angel and go suck a cock plz and stop trolling me u little fairy!

  • @Agremen

Not judging, simply stating the obvious. You're an animal worshipping, atheist, loon.

Me, an angel? Not hardly. Just a sinner, probably a worse one than you, saved by God's amazing grace.

Funny how you try to turn things around and accuse me of trolling you when it was you who started attacking me.

Now go get that snapping turtle blow job.

  • @imallpissedoff i am not atheist or an animal worshiping again that's judging...I respect nature or science cause they give us food and material or advancement and those are provable. Is your religion provable no i don't think so.And is your god in africa where people die cause famine or no water i guess is just there for stupid people like u who think that the bible is true.So stfu Jesus troll. And you know nothing about me ...Me i stayed on your stupid god comment you did to me!

  • @Agremen

You said that nature, the universe, and science are your gods. That makes you an atheist that worships materialism, nature, and science as your gods.

No one can prove the existence or, the non-existence of God but, all the scientific evidence definately points to a Creator and the God of the Bible makes the most sense since Biblical archaeology confirms so many of the places, things, kingdoms, tribes... mentioned in the Bible.

  • And btw that reply was the last reply you got out of me.Go get an ice cone and suck on it tata!

  • @Agremen

Aw, come on, don't go away mad, just go away. XD XD XD

  • @imallpissedoff Snapping Turtles do not attack people in the water, in fact there is not one documented case of that ever happening. In the water snapping turtles are pretty damn docile and will just swim away from you, its only on land where they pose a threat because they are threatened and snapping is their only defense, so leave it the hell along and there is no danger. I raise and breed Alligator snappers for the state of LA, and most of what you hear about them is false

  • @methos19751

LOL. Ok, well then you go and swim around with those "docile" SNAPPING turtles and I'll hang with Nathan and

watch him enjoy his turtle soup.

  • @imallpissedoff I own around 100 Alligators, some well over 150 pounds and walk among them daily in the water, yep have never been bit once. I know the internet's greatest strength is anonymity, and anyone can say any damn fool thing they want but it also has endless avenues that allow one to research a topic as well. I implore you to do so next time, before posting stupidity. It is better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

  • @methos19751

I see, in that case, please deliver me from my medieval ignorance, oh enlightened one. If a person were in that pond and stepped on that snapping turtle it wouldn't bite? The only reason you haven't been bitten is because you're careful and a bit lucky.

And, I never said they attack people, I said they're dangerous.

Maybe next time you'll NOT miss my point and NOT make an ass out of yourself.

Now go play with your dangerous reptiles at the taxpayers' expense.

  • @imallpissedoff Yep they probably would not bite, and i wouldn't raising them at the tax payers expense if the tax payers weren't idiots who killed them every chance they got till they were endangered animals, and drastic steps had to be taken to ensure their continued survival

  • @imallpissedoff Dude u will learn to respect nature who give u everything u have and use!You will learn very soon!

  • @Agremen

    LOL. Another stupid Canadian.

No, what's actually going to happen is that you will learn that it is the Creator of nature Who is to be worshipped, not His creation. He hates idolatry because "everything u have and use" comes from God.

In other words, don't worship the gifts, worship the Giver.

  • @imallpissedoff F u with your bible! My God is nature Universe and science!I don't be leave in fairy tails! And people like you think they can do anything cause god will forgive...Thats demoniac imo!And i don't know why i knew i was going to get a reply like that from a stupid person like u,,,And yeah i know my english is bad but i speak your language and mine that make me even more smarter then you are with your little american god!

  • Comment removed

  • @imallpissedoff Dude your not wort my precious time have a nice fictive day!

  • @Agremen

LOL. Your time isn't precious, it's a big waste.

  • release him you neanderthal!!!!!

  • If not, we gonna put him in a stew. Lmao

  • big dealll ,, hes a snapping turtle i saw a 3 foot wide 4 foot long snapper in a pond in killingly ct .. wth leave the goddamn turtles alone

  • Put him in a STEW!!!

  • this animal is atleast 50 years old and would make pretty crappy stew.

  • Lol hes a strong dude picking up 85 pounds with ease, he looks like he wieghs like 175 himself, Lol. such a pretty creature, its a shame people bother them so much, when they are so chill.

  • my friend has one slightly bigger in his pond. i was fishing on a gazebo and it came up and took my 4 inch lure and snapped it in half like a twig. thankfully he spit the end back out and didn't get hooked. but man i'll never forget it.

  • bubba got some turtle shrimp

  • kill it, skin it, soup it.

  • that is the most southern african american on planet earth.

godfather of backwoods. king of da wrango. swamp swami.

I watched that show swamp people, this guy bludgeons them to death with his southerness.

  • Not supposed to pick them up by their tails. It can damage their vertabrae. Let it go!!

  • @kamarygold While I agree with you, most of the people here don't understand what vertebrae means.

  • just put it back in the water where you found it you stupid nigger

  • Really u are leaving him in a trash can that must be what this guy is cant afford food so he is going to put him in a stew wow what an idiot should leave it alone they were here long before us.

  • that thing dosent loook like it can snap no mor

  • @upsetk1ll3r those things are alot more dangerous & stronger than they look.

  • Not supposed to pick it up by it's tail

  • @2001tranzam Thats the only safe way. It s bad to pick up snapping turtles but there neck can stretch toover half there body length o in you hold it on the shell say good bye to your finger

  • Ive found some little ones in streams in rock hill. They're some nasty fuckers!

  • it might be like 40 pounds no where near 80 tho

  • REDNECK NIGGER, SELL THIS CREATURE TO A ZOO OR JUST RELEASE IT

  • haha were ah... gana put him in a .. stew.. ahaha

  • @keithleable whaha that was my reaction too

  • i seen one bigger tahn that the other day....no joke! it looked like the big land turtles...im dead serious, ive seen a lot, but the one i just seen was atleast 110 pounds if not more

  • "Yea I was worried about 'em!"

  • bout a 35 pound male the world record is 86 lbs and this is not close to it

  • @tylerbishel lol..read my comment i just left...i seen a snapper big as the big land turtles...from head to tail it had to be 4 feet long...the tail alone was over a foot...to be honest it kinda scared me, and ive seen plenty of snappers

  • i wish it would of bit him....

  • i bet you a old turtle would taste bad, and the i like turtles guy would be pissed if he killed it

  • Nothing about that swamp creature looked appetizing to me... you are what you eat I guess.

  • its a big un but not 85lbs

  • whats wrong with people...look how he is treating him... jackass.. humans are so selfish

  • @maddyjean28 yea i feel you dude!

  • @maddyjean28 are you fucking stupid? he is handling the turtle the way a professional should and would have....you grab the snappers by the tail it doesn't hurt them.

  • @GuitarBoyRockingOut I am a professional Breeder of Snapping turtles and yeah, picking them up by their tailed does indeed hurt their spines, that is fact. the proper way to hold a Snapper is by grabbing it on the back of its shells near the pockets where its back fett or and angling it away from your body

  • @maddyjean28 What r u talking about he did nothing wrong? Id eat the whole damn thing. Ohh and get of the computer sense your not human dumbass

  • @maddyjean28 Yeah it's really terrible. I hate it when people catch stuff and treat it like crap. They need to just leave it alone.

  • @maddyjean28 Nothing wrong with the way he's treating this turtle.

  • @maddyjean28 '... gonna put him in a stew.' snapping turtle is good eatin'

  • Its a nice looking turtle, but its not 85 pounds, and I really doubt its as old as they say. Its probably a male, could be as young as 10, and around 20-30 pounds max. This poor guy was in his prime. And he wouldn't mess with anybody as long as they don't take him out of the water. He just wanted to be left alone, poor turtle.

I don't really hold anything against the guy for being ignorant, but it is sad that the news station only disseminated that ignorance.

  • holy**** thats a big trutle

  • yep ok...

  • lol little white boy, ur a tough guy arnt u. almost all countys do that, just that yanks have the biggest reputation 4 doing cruel stuff like that cuz they love hunting everything, when u see vids of hunters killing animals that dont diserve it almost all of them would b yanks, so u cant exactly say that america is more "animal friendly" than brittan and australia. any way im done arguing about this. its obvious u dont have ur head screwed on right so i will leave it at that.

  • @sylar1989 Sounds more like the truth hurts and your running away cause as i said the proof of animal cruelty is shown on both sides of the pond. And assuming this guy did kill the turtle the fact remains he ate it which is natural unlike collecting his shell or skin as a trophy which europeans are well know for doing.

  • @MuslimApostate sigh, well if u think thats natural theres something wrong with you, look bellow pretty well ever commont is against this moron eating the turtle, so im pretty sure that im not running from anything cuz theres obviousely lots of people to back me up looks like ur the only 1 that thinks theres nothing wrong with this, pretty strange isnt it? eating it is just as bad as killing it 4 its shell, its not harming anything so y eat it.

  • @sylar1989 care to explain how there the same? I don't see aligators who kill snapping turtles just so they can hang its shell on a wall? Mankind are animals too and in the wild its kill or be killed. And in case you diddn't hear they stated the turtle was old. Assuming he did throw it back how much time left would the turtle have before it dies or is unable to defend itself from a predator? In the wild it is natural for predators to pick off the sick and the old. Humans are predators mate.

  • @MuslimApostate cuz there both crule, u dont just go take an animal from its surroundings stuff it in a bin take it out and drag it around tormenting it with a stick, then eventually eat it, how hard is it to buy meat at a shop instead of taking this poor thing from its habitat. at least it could have its last days in its natural habitat than b taken and tormented. the aligator snaping turtle has very few enemies and they spend alot of there time underwater wating 4 food, so it would probably

  • @sylar1989 where exactly do you think that meat in 'a shop' comes from?

  • @MuslimApostate live 4 a few years longer and would probly die from old age than b attacked.

  • @sylar1989 whatever mate. It diddn't go to waste if it was eaten. And to me thats more natural then a european trophy hunter collecting its shell as a sovenier to hang on a wall which is not natural. If you feel differently well thats your opinion.

  • @MuslimApostate ok buddy.

  • @MuslimApostate lmao, kill or be killed? Was this guy in danger and they just casually did a news report? If he was starving he wouldn't even care to show it off, he wouldn't have told anyone and just ate it. Come on..

  • Free the turtle! Free the turtle! Free the turtle!

  • @Furnfeatherswlm Eat the Turtle! Eat the Turtle! Eat the Turtle!. Before they free it hahahaha

  • For cryin' out LOUD!!! They want to put him in the stew? Let the poor thing go...there aren't that many wonders left in the world, or any creatures that we can marvel at, and it's even worse when the first thing someone wants to do is cook the poor thing or mount it on the wall.

  • eat a nice old snaping turtle:/ sick.... only a yank wud say that:/ he aint making american steriotypes any better!

  • thats maybe 20lbs, tops.

  • pretty stupid u would want to eat such a nice old thing. typical yanks tho.

  • @sylar1989 right like it takes a yank to kill an animal. And eating it is better then killing it for his shell like what you eurotrash trophy hunters like to do.

  • @MuslimApostate no because only a hillbilly yank would want to eat somthing like that, not even a pest and the only thing he wants to do with it is eat it, yanks would eat shit if u gave it to them. hunting is way more popular in america than australia so dont go saying we r worse than u, plus we only kill animals that r pests like pigs goats and roos, yanks kill anything thats big and scary like bears and moose just to big note themselves.

  • @sylar1989 yeah my ass! Listen little white boy ive lived in both australia as well as the uk for brief periods of my life and i saw for myself animal parts in both countries collected by rich white big game hunters who go to poor nations, pay off the local wildlife patrol to look the other way, and have at it with there wildlife all for the sake of collecting there heads, horns, claws etc. Hell search for lion hunting and you'll see a video of a couple british thugs shooting to death a lion.

  • @sylar1989 and no i'm not american by birth and yes if you search youtube for lion hunting your bound to run into a particularly sick vid of some british trophy hunters killing a male lion. The proof is there for all to see.

  • his face is cute lol :)

  • theyre everywhere in NC its retarded if they think theres monsters

  • Gotta Love it;))

  • 1:39

"....Tonight I Dine on TURTLE SOUP" LMAO!

  • @BJtheBassist Hahaha.

  • that things not even that big!

  • i love how stupid people are. a large turtle!?!?! ITS A LAKE MONSTER!

  • i know ya wont believe me but i seen one of these damn things big enough for me to ride around on (not that i would ever go near it) found it in algonquin on mizzy lake trail, im telling you it must have been like 300-350 pounds, i was like "I GOTTA CALL GUINESS!!!!!" but i had no reception lol

  • holy shit!!! dont go near that thing..i got a 10 lber up in my garage now..maybe 15 lbs.. he's a fiesty lil thing. imagine this big thing snappn at ya!! he snapped a stick right in half

  • my dad said one time when he was a kid, he poked at a huge snapping turtle with a broom stick and the turtle bit it and snapped it in half. O_o

  • HUGE! but that dude is dumb

  • me and my brother and cousin caught a turtle that size the video is on my profile

  • ONly a dumbass would kill a turtle like that

  • yeh turtle shur doo tast gewd. i pefere squirle but the meet is a bit stringy. rowd kill is bess caus da meet is alredy pulverised by a loda cars goin over it back an forth.

  • I believe snapping turtles is the only creature capable of controlling, if not possibly wiping out the entire Northern snakehead population. Wake up folks!!! We need them back.

  • yea....i got a 27 pound turtle that looked that size.deff not 85 pounds

  • in my friend's pond there's this snapper that has to be at least 70 pounds. it's head is as big and round as my fist! it took a huge chunk out of my rubber lure. thank god it didn't get the hook. we all call him King. and once while i was fishing, i caught the bottom of the pond, when i pulled really hard, it came loose. once i pulled the lure up i saw a cloud and a big thing come up. it looked like a snapper. but it was HUGE (120 lbs maybe). so today we just call it "the creature". what was it?

  • @gameboy3800 , wouldn't a turtle of such size (70 lbs) have a much bigger head than your fist unless it's an alligator snapper, i have a common snapper skull that came from a 30+ pounder and it's the size of my fist, minus the flesh.

  • pu u in a stue

  • put him in a soup??? haha thats nasty, im not that starving poor. i got a baby one . i hope it grows that big!

  • The news is really covering this......I've killed a bigger turtle in the pond in my backyard

  • sick ass turtle

  • That's a BIG snapping turtle.

  • Awesome turtle!

  • that doesnt look like 85lbs...ihad one bigger than that chasing my floating frog...and the ones i have caught in the past have been bout that big.

  • cool!!!☆☆☆☆☆

  • dang a guy could really get some meat off him the biggest i ever got was 30 lbs lucky bastard

  • dam that's a big snaper..i shot bout a 25 lber in my crick last summer!! dont mess with them..they'll take ur finger right off

  • leave it up to the hick to wanna eat it.

  • Woah he is REALLY SLOW

  • just let it go!! and your holding it the wrong way...

  • @rocktool69 well dude hes not going to hold it by the head, its a fkn snapping turtle dude

  • LoL....A STEW! eww guess down south they call that one the Snappy Pappy turtle soup, ROFL!

  • haha. i love the last thing the dude who caught it says:P

    rofl.

  • thats a common snaping turtle

  • It's cute as hell too! =)

  • Nathan Morgan, Turtle Catcher

    Momma must be so proud.

  • lol "If not, we're gonna... we're gonna put him in a stew"

  • LOL! I admire the man, at least trying to save the turtles life, had it been me, I would have eaten him

    already.

  • 85 :D I saw a 50 pounder one time same shell size only the people feed it hotdogs and stuff for a few years to get it to 50 it was almost round it was so fat.

  • They're gonna eat him hahahahahaha just let him go roflmfao

  • @TheFeastoftheBigEast yeah well hope it gives ya mercury poisning and you die HAHAHAHA

  • Let him go !

  • it was so funny how he was just poking the turtle with a stick in its eye omg i was dying when i saw that... this guy is hella cool, "probably put him in a stew..." haha good job man

  • They find snappers with muskey balls and arrowheads in their shells. Way older than 80 years! And I work with an 85 pound turtle and he's 3 or 4 times this guy's size.

  • ya that thing isnt 85 pounds and he should let the great turtle spirit go unless hes gonna eat it because there is a place for all of gods creatures and that is right by the mashed potatos

  • i see those all the time, might be 85 years old

  • There is no way that turtle weighs 85 pounds. Check out the video on my channel of my dad catching a 25 pounder. The turtle in this video is about that same size. This is definately a big snapper, just not 85 pounds.

  • Ja that thing did not weigh 85 pounds. My friend and I caught one a little bigger than that in a swamp. this video is total BS

  • It's big, but there's no way that's 85 pounds unless it has about 45 pounds of lead weights stuffed in it's gut. Tell you a secret, turtles can live much more then 80 years. Try about 380 years. I've caught lots of 85 pound turtles, alligator snapping turtles and that's about a big 40 pound common snapping turtle! Nice try though to whoever ran with the 85 pound story.

  • that guy should let that turtle go! thats torture to keep it in a garbage can like that!

  • what r u talkin about! look at the size of the godamn thing it'll take off your fucking hand!

  • no only alligator snappers can do that

  • not to mention... YOU SHOULDNT PICK THEM UP BY THE TAIL! that could seriously hurt them... UGH.

  • Eat it

  • no way thats 80 pounds. i caught one today that size, it was 30-40 lbs

  • some zoo better buy him quick i would hate to even think that such a magnifecent creature is going to feed some red neck

  • @HeadlessHorseman1234 - Seriously!? it's a snapping turtle, I think there are other "magnificent creatures" we can put in the zoo. I saw they fry it up.

  • @HeadlessHorseman1234 ......dude...... thats just.....uhhh...wow, thats just fucked up..... lol

  • wow that thing is soo not 80 pounds its prob not even 30 pounds. ive cought a snapping turtle that would wooop that turtles ass.

  • not 85 lbs.

  • i know right i caught a snapper biger than that and it didnt snap my 30 pound line

  • haha yeah, thats by FAR not 85 lbs. ha

  • id be surprised if it was 30 pounds.

  • ive seen and almost caught a turtle bigger than that... not sure if a snapper

  • Super creature but, Sea=lake ? Monster=turtle ? hmm.. quiet news day ?

  • maybe not 85, but hes huge

    poor snapper

  • This turtle weighs no more than 40 pounds. Search for the 37 lb snapping turtle here and you be the judge

  • i hope the zoo took it cause that would be a shame 2 kill it

  • that was no 85 pounds.

  • i walked through swamps as a kid in ontario and stepped on a few turtles and never got bit. It seems they leave bigger things alone unless you pull them aut of the water or realy mess with them. Dont eat that guy cause im sure theres many turtle lovers who will give him a better home then a garbage can. god get that guy a old kiddy pool for the time being. beautiful turtle though

  • Ya, I wake board to on lake Wylie alot also, I would hate for that thing to pop up and shove me off haha, Wow... They put it in the water? lol

  • oh my gosh!

please keep him out of the water, lol.

I wakeboard in Lake Wylie almost everyday in the summer, and I would really hate to loose an arm!

  • moron, put the turtle back in the water.
