Seriously man, take these vids to a greater power.
I like how they are displayed here but not enough people watch them.
Also, could you make one of Ventnor next?
Walk along the path on the seafront around where the arcade is and have a look.
There's a sign saying "Keep off the huts" but no barrier to stop you falling 10feet or more down in betweeen them, porb smacking your head as you fall and crumpling up, due to the huts, causing more breakages.
I'd be quite tempted to ride down there I'll admit but after looking at it and noticing blind crossroads...I would be careful instead.
I mean, anyone could walk out and would do so too.
Easy fix is as they have done here in Liecester and that's by making chicanes.
Basically, two metal fences each covering 50% of the path, mounted offset so they block the way by speed, but allow you to walk round them, making the path usable and safer.
It is a scandal that has rocked an island community, threatening to hit taxpayers' pockets by potentially millions of pounds.
It resulted in the suspension of seven council officers, including the deputy chief executive, followed by sackings, a resignation and an early retirement.
A nine-month internal investigation has now been completed into why the Isle of Wight Council was able to award a multi-million pound contract to an international firm - High Point Rendel (HPR)-without any tendering process.
This broke both EU and UK law, as well as the council's own constitution.
And BBC News can reveal that one of the officers suspended over the affair was involved in a similar scandal elsewhere in the UK, involving the same contractors.
I was considering holidaying on the Island this summer but what with the apparent disregard of safety by your officials and the ridiculous cost of the ferries I will be examining the more viable and safer options after viewing your videos.
Thank you for that-and I hope you are able to get things changed by bringing the matters to our attention, keep up the good work.
Thanks for your kind words but I wont hold my breath on that one though.
I have spoken to a lot of people here, who have had dealings with them, and the general consensus of opinion is that the council here appear to intend take a contrary view point to that voiced by the people they supposedly represent.
They were voted out last time for their arrogance over the schools and despite the promises they have gone back on their word.
Voting them out doesn't deal with the shower we never vote in!

Hope you go under a truck!
Cheers to the uploader of this vid. I agree, it's a death trap, I nearly killed myself crashing my bike there. A few signs would not go a miss!
