Too fast, and the brass and percussion are ridiculously loud so maybe not a good mike set-up, but given the Leningrad Phil's reputation I don't think that's it. At :38 I could cut large pieces of wood on the laser beam that is that trumpet player's sound. Not good. The woodwinds also sound like they are in a box.

Bien d'accord, c'est le plus grand chef russe. C'est Beethoven Brahms, et Bruckner sont parmi les toutes meilleures interprétations. Dans Tchaikovsky, il est insurpassable!
Vrais, j'ai pas mal d'enregistrements de lui dont une quatrième de Beethoven enregistré au printemps de Prague à la fin des années cinquante spectaculaire de virtuosité, je vais bientôt la publier. Un des chef les plus important qui soit!!
