@nyhtml I was lucky in this case & they never charged my card. It's been over 2yrs since my wife & I did this. I think we left a tip as well for the maid who had to clean up our mess. They'd have a very hard time justifying charging our card 2yrs later as well.
@StockyDoccy - That's not so easy to spot without special lighting so guests can get away with that. It is the visible stains that counts as other guests who see any stains are not going to stay in that room and even worse, they will leave a bad review on those booking sites, blog posting or video upload on YouTube.
@comedyman112 Only if you're ok with destroying your own sheets when you lay on the roses. Maybe it would be good to buy inexpensive sheets that you can use only a few times..

Some hotels zap their guests for stains and with
your credit card on file, it is very easy to do so.
