  • Pretty cool. Thanks!

  • Is the removal of my shirt while working optional?

  • Any particular reason you built the sides and back fully closed instead of the usual way of having gaps between the boards for ventilation?

    Nice instructional.

  • @thirteenfingers No, I just thought it looked nice.

  • @irmjeep I'll give you that, it does look good.

I've got to build three of the things so just picking peoples brains to see what's worked for them and why they've done what they do.

Most I see have the slatted sides for ventilation so I thought I'd ask.

  • Good video but I cant get it to show on my iPhone

  • How much would you guestimate you spent on this project? Thanks

  • Corner Posts: In the video you have the corner posts at 53" with a 12 degree bevel. What is the length of the opposite corner posts? Looking forward to building this in two weekends.

  • The spacing on the floor slats is a great idea. Thank you.

  • its a chicken coope

  • Your measurements are incorrect. If the base is 141" wide, how can the header be 147" long?. You have to increase the base size. Also I tried using a scrap 2x4 as a spacer and I could not fit 21 boards across. I had to use another piece of wood that is 1.25" wide. Then all 21 boards fit without having to cut down the last one. Probably because I followed your measurements without first checking them. If I made the base the correct size, they would have probably fit.

  • @abowhunt You are correct about the header length. That is a typo that i will fix. The header should be 137" not 147".

  • Cool idea, I would place all slates on the outside for a better looking coverage and all the framing would be on the inside. It works and I think I might build one next to my shed....

  • @MaxCarnage1 nice idea, that would look nice

  • I have a lot of wood and will be using a lot during the year. I was thinking of having mine 20 feet long and the width being either 4 feet or 5 feet wide so I can have a double roll. Opinions please before I build. Thanks, Tom

  • Could you please tell me the lengh and the width of your Firewood-Storage Shed? Thanks

  • Nice farmer's burn at 0:34

    Ouch.

  • Put soap on the threads of the screws and lag bolts and they will go in easier.
