@Fuzzbrow I use an Olympus digital voice recorder with a lapel mic attached. The recorder cost about $40 I think and the mic was $10 or $15. It requires editing, but it's a cheaper way than getting a new camera with an external mic jack.
funny that the disneyland old guy worker with broom didnt react you know why because he like he does all day but he does the silent but deadly one you guys next time put smell with it like really rotten eyes in a perfume or colone sprayer then make the noise but spray before you make the noise that would be so funny LOL

Find out where people want to stay a bit longer so you can get a good zoom of their expressions. Practice how you can position the camera without giving you away. Younger people really love a good prank.
I am definitely going to try and go for more of the "stand around and let people walk by me" method. I was having my girlfriend hold the camera. She didn't do too bad for a first time filming! The cool thing about this was she could film and people wouldn't think twice about it because there are already a ton of people filming things at Disneyland, haha.

Thanks. I still need to play around with the settings in iMovie to get the best quality, but you'd be surprised at the quality of the video straight from the camera!

Well if you are going to purchase a new one, these Flip cameras are pretty nice. The only downside is the lens isn't that wide.
