I'm not sure where the first 'scene' was shot, but the latter bit is on Blackburn Road. You can see the Town Hall in the background to the right of shot.

Yes I think they were in steel drums and discovered when an old shop was being cleared out

I m sure these are the films that were found in Blackburn about 10 years ago.

I think some one pulled them out of a skip

These films must have been preserved all along, because they're in terrific shape. Aside from the clothing and other things, this looks like it could have been filmed in the last fifty years or even more recent...
