Love your video Sarah, but you are going a little too fast for me to follow. Especially the 'backwards' knitting. That is SO cool, but I couldn't really follow what you are doing. I've never seen backwards knitting before.
Have you ever knitted a small circumference article, using the magic loop method, with two circulars?
If so, how does one move or transfer their initial cast on, on a size larger needle(s), to the smaller needle(s), as called for in a pattern, or to obtain gauge, please?
Ribbing could be done this way- but because ribbing tends to be a slower knit overall- the time saving of not turning your work would be negligable. The only reason why I can imagine a person would knit ribbing in the back and forth method was to avoid repeat motion injury.
Your "purl" stitches as you go from left to right is exactly how I do it. When I have all stockinette stitch I knit English from right to left, leave the yarn in my right hand and knit from left to right the other way (exactly as you did).
Did you knit twisted into the last stitch of your knit (right to left) row?
:-) FYI Just found a great easy pattern at ebeginnersknitting (.) com

Interesting... but you did it too fast. Slower and more close up would be helpful.

Enjoyed this video! Note that this method works incredibly well with entrelac knitting. You'll save enormous amount of time using this method.

This is really great. I have a question. How do you knit ribbing this way? Can that be a next video?
