.i was in college in the early 80's- the 'smart' kids wore prep- and STILL do ! Most of the 'looks' here ( cough...cough) were considered on the hip' side, and some of the styling worked. Most of it didn't and I long for the days when folks looked normal and wore standard looking clothes- not faddish, gimmicky or 'trendy'...The classics ALWAYS prevail and are timeless...

I totally agree with you Sebizzar, but what GaGa wears is really not "every day" kind of clothes, where as in this video its more "every day" wear. Though I have noticed fashion being more retro inspired these days, I don't think it will ever be as creative (although sometimes tacky, but I'm cool with that, lol) as it was back in the 80's.
