One has to wonder, would Isreal have attacked Palestine with such intensity if they were NOT launching hundreds of katyusha rockets into Sderot? Does the intensity have anything to do with the newer rockets being built with Iranian components? ***This question is ONLY relevant to the rocket attacks and Isreal's disproportionate response in this instance.

The overwhelming power they used was to send a message. my question was; do you think it has anything to do with the RECENT rockets having Iranian components in them or was it just a "we've had enough" retaliation?

Basically 8000 rockets have landed in Israel since the Gaza evacuation, and now they are targetting Ashkelon.120 Gazans died included approx 20 civilians. I wonder what is a proportinate response- Dresden by UK or Hiroshima by USA?

I have seen/watched/read/discussed more than you could possibly know my friend. I agree that the rocket attacks are horrible, I also think islamo-fasciests are colluding to destroy Isreal, I agree with you on many points. What I will not do is unconditionaly support Isreal OR Palestine by taking one side in a fight where both parties are responsible for this problem. Both sides have legitimate grievances but both sides have to become more,...Oh, what's the word...CIVILIZED!
