You can belly dance while you are pregnant. Its actually one of the few exercises you can do without any problems.

Belly dancing is a celebration of the womb so bein' pregnant is no problem! From talkin' to some people who danced before and while they were pregnant, they tell me that they had an easier time in delivary because they had toned those muscles and knew how to use them.

Not true, there are some moves that you should shy away from after a certain point in your pregnancy, such as floor work and they say shimmies, but they made me feel a world better. You just need to listen to your body. Some of the most beautiful performances that I've seen (*cough* via youtube since I'm from a BD deadzone) have been of pregnant mothers celebrating their bodies and the miracle within.
