Ironically we've reached the Winter Olympics and USF1 still don't have a car - even if they did have one by now I don't think they'd have time to run it so much that they fall foul of the testing regulations!

I know you are trying to be funny and all, but Lopez did better times that other testers at Renault, but didn't have the money of Piquet's family. He went back to Arg and won 2 TC2000 champs (that catherory is the 4º touring car in the world wright behind WTCC, DTM and BTCC), and a TRV6 championship and 2º in TC, the oldest cathegory in the wolrd, the same Fangio raced before going to Europe.

Yes, the three were testers at Renault, trying to be the second driver with Alonso. Kovalainen went to McLaren and Piquet payed 5 millons. Lopez was faster in the track but couldn't gather that kind of money.
