  • Big respect for JJ!

  • My personal opinion is that we often confuse physical commentary on social or political issues as being "art". If something floating in a vat of formaldehyde is art, then "The National Museum of Health and Medicine" must be one of the finest art galleries in the world. Your video, however, is real art. It pulled me in, like an acid trip into a dream world with the color receptors turned off. If it had gone on one more minute, I feel I might have been trapped in The White Cube forever.

  • @Perroquet51 Ha! Agree with what you say re the Nat Mus of H and M....it is exactly that...but hey...fools paid 300.000 plus for such nonsense...as in the famous Damien Hirst shark...a healthy animal he had killed in Oz...and got others to prepare and present...the 2nd killing was the financial cunning...I would hate to see you trapped in the White Cube forever Perr...I would have rescued you...! lol...

  • I enjoyed watching even though I don't get it and I don't know why I enjoyed watching...lol

I think watching this video was a lot more artistic that the art you showed from the White Cube! But then again, I know nothing about art with the exception of what I like...whether I know why I like it or not...:-) I hope that made some sense...LOL

  • @GreatGig1 What you said makes complete sense to me...a lot of people feel confused about what is 'art' and what is not these days..and are scared to be seen as 'fools' cos they don't 'get it' ...so they go along with the most vacuous crap...pretentious and even vandalistic egotism ...These guys make so much money selling nothing....but time will level all of this out.

  • Very entertaining, Liz, and pretty close to the mark! The only good thing I ever saw at White Cube, the one in Hoxton, was the last Anselm Keifer show, but then one can actually see artistry in his art.

  • @andrewnorris2 Kristine dear Andrew...Kristine...lol...you and your Liz fixation...!! sheesh....ha!....but thanks for the comment...

  • @xyzllii Dammit, dammit!! Kristine, of course! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, please forgive me. Your humbled admirer.

  • @andrewnorris2 Oh Billy...don't worry a bit...haha...just Kiddin Andrew...don't worry ...I don't take it personally...I do that sort of thing too...we all do...!

  • Interesting video you made! Nice to see. It is like Kiasma in Helsinki maybe?

  • @MrPamppers Thanks Mr P. Will check out Kiasma.

  • @MrPamppers Checked out KIASMA...Big difference is...Kiasma is Arts Council/Government Municipal Art Gallery. White Cube is a Private gallery...owned by Jay Jopling...and is a really big money spinner...He chose to sell 'art'...but he would have been just as good at selling hats or toilets.

  • @xyzllii Sorry! I din,nt mean that way. It is huge different with those two place!

  • @MrPamppers Oh no problem MrP...it was interestine to check out Kiasma...it looks a fine edifice.

  • @xyzllii Ok, thanks. Yes Kiasma is interesting place. The building is already art.

  • I love this slightly 'unnerving' video style you do! Imagine if this film was playing inside the white cube, in the white room, with the white light. Now that would be art! I enjoyed watching this piece Kristine. . . you never disappoint with your creativity. -Steve-

  • @OceanTownPictures That is such a Brilliant Idea Steve...really would love to do that...thanks for the suggestion....now all I need is a gallery....?? Hmmm...!

  • @xyzllii With your mesmerizing voice... I bet you could talk someone into giving you one.

  • @OceanTownPictures Not sure about that...but you have got me fired on the idea now...yizzz you have..!

  • Interesting! Ummh, I won't pay to go there. Do you think 'what's-his-face' will see this video? Very impressive editing. Thanks for the tour. Informative commentary.

  • @Idlinfarm When your skin is as thick and you ego is as solid as most of these guys...it would be water off a duck's back to them...they would not care less what I think of them...why should they ?...they feel adored...But time wounds all heels as they say...time sorts out that which lasts from the ephemeral. Thanks Ida.

  • "I love talking crap" -- lol -- me, too!! This is so good, K ... the only debit is that it elevates your subject -- heheh. "Art is anything you can get away with." -- Warhol.

  • @liz1060 Well...if i have elevated the subject Liz...I have failed...boohoo...Warhol made these flip remarks...but was actually very grounded in what was of value in life and art....He also disliked what he called Scribble Art..preferring the likes of Alice Neel etc...Thanks for watching...

  • My feelings too about the subject! Excellent video.

  • @ljped Glad you agree Jack...I have suffered this sort of White Cube thing for too long now...fed up with the whole pretentious trend it and the likes of it...have set...

  • Incredible video! Art is in the beholder, or not.

  • @phekwig Thanks so much for watching and comment...
